Gram Kajak manufactures Greenland Paddles in carbon, and paddle gear with a smart twist.

Gram Kajak ( kayak) is a small Danish manufacturer of Greenland Paddles. I make laminatet paddles in Western Red/Alaskan Yellow Cedar wood, as well as paddles in carbon. The paddes can all be delivered in one, two and ( for the carbon version) three part versions. The wooden paddles can be made to your meet your own design, although most rowers are comfortable with my standard version, which has been fine tuned over many years.

Gram 9200 — a little more power 🌊

The 9200 is our wider Greenland paddle, with a 92 mm blade and a larger blade area for a little extra power with each stroke.

• 215, 220 & 224 cm
• Approx. 650–700 g
• 2-piece (9200D) or 3-piece (9200T)
• 582 cm² blade area
• Soft shoulders

The almost flat tip area gives a smooth entry into the water, while the wider blade provides clear feedback throughout the stroke.

Why are Greenland paddles so good for rolling? 🌊

A traditional wooden Greenland paddle, when made from the right type of wood, has plenty of natural buoyancy to support you through the roll.

Carbon paddles can work just as well. Gram Kajak paddles are built with a construction that contains a lot of air inside the paddle, giving them buoyancy in the water and making them well suited for rolling.

Different materials. The same principle: let the paddle help you back to the surface.
