Week 16 of the DFA Premier League gets underway with five important fixtures as the season moves closer to its conclusion.

Portsmouth Bombers FC face WE United FC on Wednesday, before Bath Estate FC take on Dublanc FC on Thursday. Harlem United SC meet South East FC on Friday, Mahaut Soca Strikers FC face Pointe Michel FC on Saturday, and Mighty Avengers close out the week against Dublanc FC on Sunday.

With the title race, league positions and relegation battle still taking shape, every point matters.

Although our girls came up short against Portsmouth Bombers FC, they deserve plenty of credit for stepping onto the field and giving it their all ,with only 7 players available! 👏🏾

Playing a full match with such a limited squad is no easy task, but the ladies showed heart, determination, and commitment right until the end. 💪🏾

The result may not have gone our way, but the effort certainly deserves recognition. Keep your heads up, ladies! This is just another step in the journey. 💙

The DFA Premier League is entering a decisive stage with plenty still to play for at both ends of the table.

Dublanc FC lead the standings with 36 points, six ahead of South East FC and with a game in hand. Sunday’s clash with Portsmouth Bombers FC could further strengthen their position — a win would open a nine-point advantage over South East with both teams then having played 14 matches, while a draw would extend the gap to seven points.

Mahaut Soca Strikers FC remain firmly in the mix in third on 26 points, while the battle further down the table remains extremely tight, with only four points separating WE United FC in seventh and Mighty Avengers at the bottom.

With rescheduled fixtures still to be completed, every point is becoming increasingly important as the season heads toward its final stages.

The DFA Women’s Premier League returns with three matches on the schedule this Friday and Saturday.

Mahaut Soca Strikettes FC and Goodwill Runnerz FC meet under the lights on Friday night, before Saturday brings a double dose of action with Harlem United SC facing South East FC and Portsmouth Bombers FC taking on Kalinago Warriors FC.

All three matches will be broadcast LIVE.
