The skills book launch was a call to action by Marilyn A Cuffy-Morris, Author to guide the youth towards the development of various skills. The books provide guidance to the youth on all types of skills.

The intention is to continue to work with them towards their path to success. Being employed is a stepping stone to receiving an income but if they are armed with other skills the youth will be in a better position to steer themselves on the right path to success.

Reminiscing on the Skills book launch which took place yesterday.

It has been a 1 1/2 years journey developing the Skills books writing, attending meetings, having discussions, obtaining feedback, brainstorming, thinking, using breathing exercises when writing for long hours, singing, editing. Oh boy it was a long road. But as everything else, it's done.

These days you can go online and create a book, but no, for me it's all about creating something valuable.

My Skills books for youth were launched today Friday June, 5th, 2026 at the UWI Open Campus auditorium

I would like to express my heartful gratitude to UWI Open campus for their unwavering support to this initiative. I would also like to express gratitude to the many businesses, sponsors, teachers, students, partners, and everyone who made the books and the event possible.

The books will be for purchase within the next two weeks at Jays Bookstore , Amazon and other locations and platforms to be announced .
