* About 7 km from Cabarete.
* Very flat water, great for freestyle.
* Better for intermediate/advanced riders because the launch is tight and there are trees/obstacles.
2. Cabarete Bay / Cabarete Beach — Main town beach
* Large bay with more space.
* More chop and shorebreak.
* Historically more associated with windsurfing or wingfoiling but kiting is also very common.
3. Bozo Beach / Punta Goleta — Big open kite area
* Between Cabarete Bay and Kite Beach.
* More room than Kite Beach.
* Usually choppier with a bigger shorebreak, especially when there is swell.
* Good for intermediate riders and experienced kiters.
4. Kite Beach - very known for kiters.
* The most famous and busiest kiteboarding area.
* Lots of riders.
* The reef offshore creates relatively protected/choppier water inside and waves outside.
5. Encuentro — Wave spot
* West of Cabarete.
* Primarily famous for surfing, but advanced kiters also ride here, particularly strapless/wave.
* Much less suitable for a beginner learning kite.
