🏀 Congratulations to Our Class of 2023 Alumni

We would like to congratulate Class of 2023 members Andersson Garcia, Hugo Mendez, and Jose Cruz on their continued success.

Andersson Garcia has officially signed a 10-day contract with the Utah Jazz of the NBA, a tremendous accomplishment and proud moment for everyone who has followed his journey.

Garcia previously competed in the 2023 United Cup of Champions during the summer of 2023, representing Club Jose Cruz of Moca, Dominican Republic. During the tournament, Garcia averaged 14.2 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game, helping lead Club Jose Cruz to their first United Cup Championship.

Following his outstanding performance, Garcia was honored with the LatinBasket.com All-United Cup Forward of the Year Award and was also named to the All-United Cup First Team.

We are extremely proud of Andersson and all members of the Class of 2023.

We would like to congratulate Ben Njie on his induction into the Trinity United Hall of Fame.

Njie stands among elite company as one of only three players in United Cup history to earn four championship gold medals, joining Jermaine Barnes and Oliver Garcia. His dominance on the defensive end earned him back-to-back LatinBasket.com All-United Cup Defensive First Team honors.

He ranks 2nd all-time in blocks (45) and 6th all-time in rebounds (150), cementing his legacy as one of the premier defensive forces in Trinity United history.

UNITED CUP ESPAÑA FEB RETURNS IN 2026
August 26 – September 3 | Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸

CB Boet Basketball and Trinity United, LLC proudly announce the return of the 2026 United Cup España FEB, taking place in Barcelona from August 26 to September 3, 2026.

Featuring clubs from FEB Tercera alongside American teams, the United Cup continues its mission of fostering international collaboration, cultural exchange, and community impact through basketball.

This year’s theme, “Where Worlds Collide,” captures the spirit of the event — bringing people together through teamwork, unity, and a shared love of the game, both on and off the court. Beyond competition, U.S. players will host a youth basketball camp for CB Boet athletes (U8–U15), reinforcing the tournament’s commitment to development, mentorship, and service.

“We are very happy to celebrate the United Cup España FEB for another season,” said Alberto Peña, Chief Manager of CB Boet Basketball. “It is a great opportunity to showcase the impactful work we do hand in hand with our clubs, continue growing the game of basketball in Mataró, and invite everyone to join us in the celebrations. We would like to thank Jermaine Barnes of Trinity United, LLC, as well as the coaches, players, and partners for their tremendous efforts and solidarity throughout the year.”

Founded in 2017, the United Cup España FEB has evolved from a preseason competition into a platform that connects players, clubs, and communities across borders — using basketball as a bridge between cultures.

Clarence Tillman has been voted the 2026 United Cup Most Valuable Player 🏆.

On Sunday, Georgia Panthers guard won his first-ever MVP award after a superstar tournament, averaging 22.7 points per game while leading his squad to a 3-1 record (loss came when he sat out for Superior League Training Camp). Amidst this deep playoff run that saw him win the Panthers its first United Cup Championship, Tillman has become the first player to lead an American based team since 2017.

Tillman was the leader in points and ranked 3rd in assists for the Panthers. He will now travel to Santiago to compete for a contract in the ABASACA Superior League with Club GUG, Plaza and Cupes.

Dominican forward J***y Uceta had a great game in the last round for Clermont Crocs that helped him to receive a Taco Bell Player of the Day award for round 4.

The Dominican swingman had the game-high 19 points adding 10 rebounds and 2 assists for the Crocs in his team's victory, helping them to beat Titans 70-57. Uceta helped get the Crocs their 1st victory 🏀

The Day Four in United Cup (Final Day). Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of the last round was a loss of American club US Titans on last night. Hosts were edged by 73-56. The game was dominated by young Dominican forward J***y Uceta! He finished the game with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Worth to mention a solid performance of American guard Jason Benhardus who recording 13 points and 2 assists. The Titans standout players were in their guard play. Team captain Brandon Hill (185-G-1987, college: Potomac St.) had an impressive night in limited minutes. He finished the game with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists on just 21 minutes of play. Point guard Brandon McElvy (177-PG-1994) finished with 12 points in a losing effort.

"We finally came together as a team," said David Luna. Playing against Americans is totally different from the Dominican teams. We would have liked a better showing but I am proud of my guys for continuing to fight. We will keep getting better for future events.

The final game featured the Georgia Panthers (3-0). The Panthers locked in the tournament championship last night and it showed. The club featured most of the beach players after star guard Clarence Tillman (196-SF-1990, college: N.Georgia) was beached. Tillman was announced to join Cupes de los Peoines training camp before the game. One of the best clubs in Santiago will give the top player of the tournament an opportunity to make the team.

The Panthers were dominated by the Dominican club. Mellinzos controlled the game from start to finish with a 70-56 win over the Americans. Jose Rodriguez finished with a game high 30 points on 14-20 shooting. Victor Torres was the top players for the Panthers with 23 points and 5 assists.

"You learn alot about a group by the way they finish," said Jermaine Barnes. After Thursday night I think they guy all knew we won. But it's no excuse for not fighting until the end. I am very proud of Clarence Tillman. We benched him so he could be rested for Saturday morning in Santiago. But this was also an opportunity for other players to show their value. We did not.
