The MLB DR office took part in a community activity in a neighborhood called Los Alcarizos in the city of Santo Domingo. The event helped to give back to the less fortunate children who play in the local little league baseball teams. During the event, the kids were treated to cookies, drinks and face painting, while they awaited for Santa Claus. Once Santa Claus showed up the 200+ kids in attendance received a gift that consisted of baseball gloves and bats for the boys and dolls for the girls. They were also treated to small bags of candy and coloring books that made their day.
