Rancho Patococha is a hidden place in the Ecuadorian Andes. We have chosen this place specifically because of its lush nature and tranquility, as a space where our guests can recharge from the crazy city life and share unforgettable moments. Our specialty is horseback rides, which are done around the ranch and where you can enjoy the picturesque landscapes and forest which surrounds our property.

Sat 29th Feb or Sun 1st March

Book now for our horse back ride this Sunday, come along and meet up with some locals and travellers and just relax, enjoy the wonderful hospitality of the Malo family who have lived on this property for many generations..

Cost of $50 includes the 45 min drive to the ranch from Cuenca, refreshments and a great two hour ride through the hills and small communities. Approx 8.30am - 200pm with pickups at a central location:
Supermaxi Las Americas, Parque de Madre or anywhere along the route to Tarqui.

There's lots to see on the ranch itself, including the tack room that houses unique bridles and saddles from around the world, so make sure to ask Sebastian all about the game of polo which is very popular here. Rancho Patococa is well known for their polo horses that are trained on the property.
