That’s a wrap on Nationals 2026 and Flaming Leaves 🍁🍂🍃

“It’s nice to have the whole US community together and competing against each other. The atmosphere is always one of the best parts of these US competitions,” said World Cup athlete and 2026 National Champion Niklas Malacinski of the experience.

From watching 14 year olds in their first Nationals to seasoned World Cup racers, exciting ideas for the future of the sport coming to life, and community members rallying around the athletes, the U.S. Nationals provided a reminder of the potential for Nordic Combined in the U.S.A.

Thank you to our sponsors, donors, athletes, coaches, and volunteers! You make this all possible.

And thank you Essi Kenttala Seth Rothchild & New York Ski Educational Foundation for capturing the magic! 🪄

Always a pleasure, Lake Placid 🫶🏼 See you in a few months when the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup makes its return to the US!!!
