Jay Craig at Craig Welding and Manufacturing aka Outlaw Smokers was kindly showing us around the manufacturing plant at Mentone IN a few days ago. Very nice indeed! A lot of fun stuff going on and great smokers being built. Some for backyard smoking, some for comps and big jobs.

Jay Craig näitas lahkesti oma tootmist, kus valmivad muuhulgas Outlaw Smokers BBQ ahjud. Väga vingeid asju tehakse seal, nii kodukasutajale kui võistlejale ja suurte tööde jaoks. Craig Welding and Manufacturing, Mentone IN.

Had the privilege of tasing the winning ribs and pork shoulder after the entries were handed over to the judges. It only took me some courage to go and ask. They were both very open and nice. I did not mention Heath Riles team that they lost the turkey podium to us :)
Now I know how high the stars really are. Thank you Heath Riles and Chris Lilly for that opportunity!

Mul oli au ja võimalus proovida hiljem võitjateks tunnistatud ribisid ja sea aba. Kõik mida vaja läks oli kübe julgust, et küsida. mõlemad olid vastutulelikud ja väga sõbralikud. Ma ei maininud Heath Riles-i meeskonnale, et nad kaoyasid kalkuni poodiumikoha just meile :)
