A wheel pose (Urdhva Dhanurasana) variation also called Alien pose 👽 I haven’t really used this variation in my own practice and let me tell you - it is definitely more intense than it looks😮💨 but as we all know… practice makes progress😏

Salamba Sarvangasana a.k.a supported shoulder stand
Amazing finishing asana after any type of yoga class and accessible for most levels👌but definitely not a beginner pose and should always be approached with caution ⚠️ and high awareness in neck area.
The inverted asanas(where head is below the heart and/or legs above the heart) in the end of a yoga practice promote good blood circulation and help calming the nervous system for a nice relaxing Savasana(corpse pose - the final long held pose of every yoga class) 😌
I feel like I should start a series about different yoga poses🧘 let me know what would you like to know more about these📝

UTTHITA TRIKONASANA
or simply extended triangle pose in English.
This one has been one of my favorite yoga asanas as far as I can remember.
I often use it in my classes as well to give a little break from warriors and stretch the side body and legs 🤸
It has many benefits including:
• strengthening the thighs and torso
• stretches hips, groin, hamstrings, calves, shoulders, chest and spine

Bakasana is one of the first fundamental inverted arm balances to master in yoga. It is a good basic to learn, at first it might take a lot more than expected but eventually gives you even more. In addition to working on your strength and balance, you are also facing your fears as falling is inevitable in the process of learning arm balances. Learn how to fall, overcome the fear of falling and you are already one step ahead of fear that’s holding you back on and off the mat😉
