Kadri juhendatud joogatunnid toimuvad igal reedel.
Vinyasa jooga tunnid kell 13:00-14:00 ja lastejooga 15:00-16:00.
Lastejooga hooaja avatund toimubki 11. septembril - registreerumine avatud. Link bios.

Kadri, our vinyasa and kidsâ yoga instructor, is back from her summer vacation. That means Friday afternoon vinyasa yoga and the after-school kidsâ yoga class are back too!
I asked Kadri whatâs coming up in the yoga classes soon:
âIn the upcoming vinyasa yoga classes, the focus will be on breathing, so that breath isnât forgotten during the flow. Ujjayi breath, also known as victorious breath or ocean breath, spreads warmth through the body, improves focus, and calms the mind.
In kidsâ yoga, weâll be doing partner and acro yoga exercises. These are our familyâs favorites - we do them regularly at home with our kids too.â
Kadriâs yoga classes take place every Friday.
Vinyasa yoga is from 1:00-2:00 PM, and kidsâ yoga from 3:00-4:00 PM.
The kidsâ yoga season opening class is on September 11th - registration is open. Link in bio.

One of the foundations of peace - resilience.
Inner peace is usually not a happy accident that some people come across and others donât.
Itâs a mix of thought patterns and behavioural patterns that result in the feeling of inner peace.
To increase inner peace you basically need to train yourself to think and behave in a way that will result in the emotional state of inner peace.
Sounds easy, right?
Put it in practice, a bit more challenging.
The missing key is usually resilience.
How to train the quality of resilience in yourself?
âą Regularity - commit to doing something beneficial to you regularly. With this you train your brain that you have what it takes, you can count on yourself.
It could be anything you see beneficial - as an example regular yoga practice, daily walks, etc.
âą Challenge yourself - choose to consciously do a little bit of challenging things aka practice overcoming obstacles in a safe environment.
Again, some sort of physical activity is a good example. Many people feel that they need to put a little bit of effort into actually getting up and going to the studio, actually starting the activity, etc.
With both of these you train your brain đ§ that you are resilient, you have what it takes and you will not give up on yourself. This gives you a sense of confidence and safety within you that will result in greater feeling of inner peace.
When real life challenge appears - itâs not as challenging anymore, because youâve training for this!
You are resilient and you believe that you can go through challenges! You have proof from your daily life!
And then you notice that youâre able to feel inner peace even in the midst of some lifeâs challenges.
Letâs go!

Peace of Mind Workshop đŠ
After a long time decided to offer this workshop again. It was a hit! Now thinking about making it a monthly thing!
As it often is with the group therapy, everyone came in with their own different life challenges and we used generic language and techniques, but it still works!
We used different ways to measure đ the intensity or the âproblemâ and bodily discomforts before the session and after the session.
For absolutely everyone the feelings of discomfort went down quite significantly and for some even disappeared completely! And for everyone the feelings of ease increased.
Iâm really proud of you for doing the unseen work and with this being a better companion and making the world a better place to live in general.
Letâs make this workshop a monthly thing?

Peace of mind is often something we don't think about until we don't have it. We often take it for granted, but the moment we lose it, it becomes essential to find it.
When a threat or a challenge shows up our nervous system goes into fight-or-flight mode.
In this moment we find ourselves in stress, which translates to the nervous system "trying to survive". Most of these situations are not actually life threatening, they are emotional. Just the nervous system translates it as life threathening.
These life challenges can unfold in two ways..
First one (we've all been there)
In the middle of the challenge you totally freeze or go into fight mode to literally "save your life" emotionally. Most likely abandoning yourself, your values and respect for everyone involved. Afterwards there could be a moment of "wtf just happened".
After the immediate threat has past, it might take you hours, days or even weeks to release the emotional effects of what happened. It's not because you're bad or stupid - it's just because you don't have the "tools" to cope with that.
When you don't have the "tools" to cope, then it's a happy accident when the peace of mind finally arrives.
Second scenario
When you have have a habit of practicing something that brings you peace, let's call it a "tool", most likely when you find yourself in the middle of a challenge you are eventually going to use this "tool". The "tool" will soften the situation for you on the spot, so the situation is not as scary, or it will help you restore your inner peace and balance afterwards.
Maybe you are not able to feel calm when it is happening, but you know how to guide yourself though the shock of it after the event. You recover fast and soon you won't even remember the event exactly - you let go.
After a bit of practice you might even notice that the situations that felt like a challenge before are not feeling so threatening anymore and you can even recover from some of the challenging situations while they are happening.
If you'd benefit from adding some more "tools" into your "toolbox" or just continiue practicing the ones you already have for the moment you might really need them, then the Peace of Mind Workshop is for you.
It's happening today 2 September 19:15 in the studio.
We're practicing various therapy, mediation and nervous system regulation tools.
For Aurora Yoga Studio monthly card owners it's 1x from your card, otherwise workshop tickets also available.

Head uut kooliaasta algust!
Sel puhul viisile eile Viljandi GĂŒmnaasiumi Ă”pilastele tutvusmispĂ€eval akrojooga töötoa lĂ€bi. Vot see on kiire ja efektiivne viis omavahel sĂ”brunemiseks ja ice breakerâiks!
âââ
Happy beginning of a new school year!
Yesterday we taught acroyoga as part of Viljandi High Schoolâs introduction day. This is certainly a great way for ice breaker and to make friends fast!
Ave juhendab joogatunde igal teisipÀeval - 17:30 Vinyasa Flow & 19:00 Yin jooga. VÔid lihtsalt uksest sisse astuda, joogamatid kohapeal olemas.

Word of wisdom from our yoga teacher Aveđ§ââïž
What are your recent favorites and main benefits from practice?
"Something I remind myself of, especially when Iâm doing my own yoga practice, is to use the posture/asana as a way to go deeper into my body, into myself and into my sensations. It helps keep the focus on being present and on myself, because the external doesnât really matter, especially in yoga. What matters is how you feel while youâre practicing.
And my favorite pose is definitely the Knee-to-Ear pose aka Karnapidasana. Because of my work as a massage therapist, my back and neck tend to get tense, and this is one of the best stretches for my spinal muscles as well as my neck muscles. And on top of that, Iâm completely in my own little world when I cover my ears with my knees. Nothing else matters in that moment - just me. đ"
Ave is teaching yoga classes on every Tuesday - 17:30 Vinyasa Flow & 19:00 Yin Yoga. You can just step in, yoga mats are provided.

STOP waiting for the perfect momentâ
You'll never be flexible enough to start yoga.
You start and your flexibility impoves. it's inevitable side effect of practicing yoga.
You'll never be strong enough to start headstands.
It's not about strength, it's about alignment. You just need the right step-by-step instructions.
You'll never be ready enough to join a yoga retreat.
There is just no amount of preparation you can do for a transformational experience - it happens there! The feeling of excitement and like something totally new is about to happen is part of it.
You'll never be advanced enough to start acroyoga.
It's not about advancement, it's about ovecoming the fear of failure. Trial and error is part of any learing process and everyone looks a bit silly and laugh a lot when they learn acroyoga - the realness is what makes it fun.
You will never be 'there' - the learing is contsant, this is how evolution works.
Don't let life pass you by and start before you're ready.
The perfect moment will never come, so you might as well just take one imperfect step forward right now.
And then next time you'll look back - this what you were waiting for has already happened. You'll be so proud of yourself that you took this first step.
