Wadi Degla automatically qualifies to the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League, as a result of Egypt winning the hosting rights of the competition.
El Gouna FC will take part in the North African Qualifiers for a chance to be part of the final competition, consisting of eight teams.

🚨 INDUSTRY UPDATE
CAF to conduct the draw for the Total Women’s African Cup of Nations, the U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers and the U17 FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers, on Monday May 10th at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt at 1PM.
The Total Women’s African Cup of Nations Qualifiers first round will take place between June 7th and June 15th 2021.
Egypt will participate in all three qualifiers for the first time since 2016.

The Female Pharaohs are set to commence an open camp on Tuesday, April 20th in preparation for the upcoming qualifiers.
Mohamed Kamal will be heading the Senior National Team while Mohamed Mohsen will be heading the U17 National Team.
Trainings will take place in the sub-field of Cairo Stadium and will begin at 8:30pm for the youngsters and 9:30pm for the first team.

The Egyptian Football Association announces the Egyptian Women’s Cup will be held for the 2020/2021 Season, and for the first time since the 2016/2017 Season.
All teams in the first and second division are eligible to participate, with cash prizes for the top 3 positions as follows:
First Place: 100K Egyptian Pounds
Second Place: 75K Egyptian Pounds
Third Place: 50K Egyptian Pounds

Moroccan FA announce via their website that they’ll be hosting the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League next November, with the Royal Army Club being the country’s representative.

🚨 INDUSTRY UPDATE
has opened the bidding process for the country that will host the inaugural Women’s Champions League, organized during the period of October, November and December every year, as per the resolution of the CAF Executive Committee.
The tournament will consist of a total of 8 teams, seven through each zonal union’s qualifiers, in addition to the league champions of the host country.
The bidding files must contain the following: two stadiums, four training sites, accommodation plans to host the eight participating teams, in addition to the official governmental guarantee.
With the closing date set at March 31st, do you think Egypt will make a bid to host the tournament?
