Greetings from the Red Sea!

With recent news about the conflict in the Middle East, a few of our guests have been asking if anything has changed for travel to Egypt.

The short answer: No.

Egypt is not militarily involved in the conflict and is not a target of Iran.

Thankfully, we are thousands of kilometers from the conflict, and life here along the Red Sea continues as normal.

Normally, our kite safaris have 50% Western Europeans, 40% North Americans, and 10% from Brazil, Australia, and other Southern Hemisphere countries. It’s a mix of nationalities that is pure magic! There’s two pieces of exciting news for 2026:

First, all of our 2026 kite safaris will be on DRAGON, a brand-new 60-meter mega-yacht, the largest and finest on the Red Sea. From the dining room to the lounge areas to the luxurious Platinum Suite to the upper deck plunge pool, every aspect of DRAGON has been meticulously designed and crafted to the highest standard.

Second, all of our 2026 kite safaris will depart the marina on Saturday evening, thereby avoiding the Sunday morning congestion delays and getting our guests out to the island on Saturday night, ensuring they have a full day off kiting on Sunday.

Important: Return guests (from any previous year) will have the initial two weeks (1-14 November) to secure their preferred kite safari dates and room upgrades before we confirm reservations from new guests. We will begin confirming reservations from new guests beginning 15 November. New guests can place reservation requests immediately and they will be placed on a waiting list until 15 November (requests will be accepted in order of date received).
