Kids Ballet classes with Magdoline are back!

Class will focus on basic ballet techniques, proper body alignment, the positions of the arms and legs, French terminology and flexibility. Students will be introduced to elementary barre, center and floor work.

Every Tuesday and Saturday:

- 4 pm to 5 pm age group 5-7 years
- 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm age group 7-11 years

Barre Fusion - Tuesday 8:15am

Meghans signature barre class incorporates techniques used in Ballet, Contemporary & Street dance, calisthenics & pilates to lengthen, tone and strengthen the body. Modelled on the traditional structure of a beginner dance fitness class, your body will be taken on a safe and thorough journey involving barre, centre and floor work. Each class features an elegant yet energetic combination of movements that enhance flexibility, improve balance and challenge the core set to a diverse soundscape of music.

Dance/Body Physique - Thursday 8:15am

Floor-based weightlifting sculpt class set to upbeat music with a holistic approach to improve your athletic and functional movement technique. Dance Physique conditioning focuses on developing your muscle strength, flexibility, core stability, feet strength as well as traditional dance alignment; this shall prepare the body for more challenging choreography when at the barre, reduce stiffness, and improve alignment and technique efficiency.

Biography

Meghan Sullivan is a multidisciplinary movement educator, dance artist, yoga instructor and personal trainer. Her background started in her youth with over a decade of classical Ballet, Modern jazz and Karate, followed by a higher education in Exercise Science at Denver State University, Modern Dance at Paris School of Dance, and Shaolin Kung Fu & Qi Gong at Tianmeng Academy, China. A teacher since 2008 and an enthusiast of all dynamic and creative movements with a passion for guiding others, she infuses her classes with many of her personal influences. Her commitment to her art form and continued education is shown through her anatomical knowledge of functional strength & conditioning, optimal training and flexibility techniques, creative sequencing, authentic expression; and finally a strong connection to her community. She currently teaches mindfulness to international corporations, co-teachers 200-hour Yoga training programs, online public classes and workshops between the USA, UK, France and Egypt.
