This week, we had the absolute pleasure of diving with the Trident Warriors crew, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group to have underwater with us.

Trident Warriors is a nonprofit built around a pretty incredible idea: using scuba diving to help combat veterans find community, confidence, purpose, and a little bit of tranquility beneath the surface. They provide free diver training and equipment to combat veterans, while bringing veterans and civilians together through diving trips and shared experiences.

We’re incredibly grateful that Trident Warriors chose to spend part of their journey with us here in Dahab. It was a privilege to dive alongside you, share the Red Sea with you, and be a small part of the community you’re building.

A great dive starts with a great briefing. Most people think the dive begins with a giant stride or the moment you deflate your BCD, but we’d argue it starts long before your first breath underwater.

A thorough briefing gives everyone the same game plan. We talk through the dive site, conditions, route, safety procedures, and answer any questions before we even enter the water.

A few minutes on the surface means more confidence, better communication, and a smoother dive for everyone.
