🤿 Our diving package in Wadi Lahami is designed for maximum diving enjoyment in the famous area of the Fury Shoals:
In Wadi Lahami we dive by high-performance RIB (ridged inflatable boats) only.

👉Trip includes:

🟢 Up to 4 dives per day (at fixed times): 2 guided dives to the Fury Shoals, 1 unguided afternoon dive and 1 unguided night dive on the fringing reef Torfa.

‼️ Please note:

🔘 Diving in Lahami is suitable for any level diver. Divers with less than 20 logged dives and have not been diving within 6 months will be required to take a scuba review.
🔘 For safety and comfort, those who have any back or other medical conditions should ensure they are prepared and fit for varying sea conditions which can make RIB diving a bit difficult during winter months.
🔘 As long as a diver is joining at least the 2-dive morning trip, they will pay the full diving day price.
🔘 Divers who wish to participate in the night dive must be certified to do so. Divers who are not certified will be required to have a private guide at extra charge.
🔘 There is no reduction in the package price for those who do not participate in the afternoon or night dives for any reason.
🔘 Our team will select the dive sites according to many factors including weather conditions, diving ability of the guests, dive sites already visited, personal preferences, safari boat schedules, etc. We thank you for putting your trust in our team to give you the most enjoyable and safe experience.

What does red and white flag mean?

Scuba flag or Diver Down flag, is a flag used on the water to indicate that there is a diver below.

This diving flag is usually flown from a buoy in the water to indicate an area where diving is underway. It can also be attached to a diver so that it follows them through the water.

A diver down flag flown from a buoy should be at least 50 cm (20 inches) in length. It needs to be set high enough above the water that approaching vessels 🛥 can see it even in choppy conditions, and the buoy must be stable enough to ensure that the flag doesn’t topple over.

Local laws 👩‍⚖️ recommends that vessels 🛥 stay at least 100 m (328 ft) away from a diving flag wherever possible. Similarly, divers should do their best to stay within 100 m (328 ft) of their flag.

In the event that a vessel 🛥 cannot maintain such a distance (e.g. in a river, inlet or other confined navigation channel), it should slow down, move cautiously and stay as far away from the diving 🤿 area as possible.

📖 History Tip: The use of the red and white flag, which was created in the early 1950s by Navy veteran Denzel James "Doc" Dockery of Michigan, and popularized by Ted Nixon of US Divers.
