💔 The One That Got Away:
We hooked into a massive Barracuda that put up a serious fight all the way to the boat, only to pop off right at the gaff! Heartbreaking, but that’s saltwater sportfishing—it’s what keeps us all coming back for more. 🦈🌊

🎣 Mission Part 1: Barracuda Locked Down! 🔥
It’s season, and our main man came out with two clear targets in mind: Barracuda and Dogtooth Tuna.

We wanted to maximize our odds for Part 1 of the mission, and everyone knows the golden rule of fishing: fresh bait is good, but LIVE/freshly caught bait is king!
Even though we had fresh bait on board from the day before, we decided to take an extra step.

We headed to our bait spot, pulled up some fresh double-lined mackerel, and rigged them up perfectly.
From there, we hit our secret spot... and then came the moment we were waiting for! ⚡

1. First Pass: The reel SCREAMED! A hard strike, but the fish missed the hook.

2. Second Pass: We circled right back around, set the bait, and BAM! The reel screamed again, the hook set, and the fight was on!

When a client says, “I want to catch a tuna,” you just hand them the rod and watch them work their magic! 🎣🔥

Hard work truly pays off. This absolute beauty was reeled in straight from a staggering 90-meter depth using vertical jigging. Talk about an arm workout! 💪🌊

Fun Fish Fact🤙 : Ever wonder where they hang out? Tuna love to chill in the middle of the water column right near the temperature break (thermocline), where the conditions are just right. Find the zone, drop the jig, and let the magic happen!
