The British University in Egypt - Student Activities Department

The Sports Section of the Student Activities Department at The British University in Egypt is proud to announce that Yasmine Ahmed Magdy, a student at the Faculty of Art and Design, has achieved 1st place in the final national selection trials to represent the Egyptian National Team at the African Under-21 Championship, which will be held in Algeria in September 2026.

This outstanding achievement has also secured her qualification for the World Championship, scheduled to take place in October 2026 in Poland.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Yasmine on this remarkable accomplishment and wish her the very best as she proudly represents Egypt on both the African and international stages. We are confident that she will continue to make us proud with her dedication, talent, and determination. 🇪🇬🏆

Congratulations to the Indoor Rowing Team of the The British University in Egypt for their outstanding performance at the Regional Championship held at the The American University in Cairo.

Our team delivered an outstanding performance, winning a Gold Medal in the Men’s Individual category by Abdallah Amr, and a Bronze Medal in the Mixed Team category.

This success was achieved by our talented athletes Abdallah Amr, Malek Abu Zahra, and Eiten Ehab. We are proud of our athletes for their commitment, determination, and excellent representation of our university.
