Have I yelled at my child?
Yes.
More than once.

Did it make me feel good?
Never.

Did I apologise?
Yes.

Did I become more conscious the next time?
Yes.

Did I lose it again?
Also yes.

WE’RE HUMAN ♥️
We mess up. But we are able to learn.

Parenting asks so much of us, and I think we need to give ourselves a little more grace - without using that grace as an excuse.

We can own the moments we’re proud of AND the ones we’re not.

We can apologise. We can reconnect. We can look at what happened inside us. And we can practise meeting the next moment differently.

That, to me, is part of the work.

👉🏼 Mothers, I’m curious:
what happens inside you after you lose your patience with your child? Guilt? Shame? Anger at yourself? Or have you learned to let it go? I’ve felt all the feelings 💔 but only feeling them fully brought healing ❤️‍🩹

Tell me. I’d genuinely love to hear. 🤍

I did my first yoga teacher training not because I wanted to become a teacher, but because I wanted to understand more.

Going to asana classes in studios had started to feel depleting. I knew there was so much more to yoga - and that I was missing it.

Years later, I became an ICF-certified coach, again not because I originally wanted to coach, but because I needed better tools to navigate challenges in my own life.

I knew I couldn’t change others. I had to start with myself.

You might ask:
Why not just take a course? Why learn it from the ground up? Well, that’s just who I am 😬 When I choose something, I want to learn from scratch and go deep.

Today, these two paths are coming together - enriched by my own life experience:

motherhood, entrepreneurship, leadership, living and working in 10+ countries before I was 30 during my years as a model, and everything life has taught me since.

I bring all of this into my retreats and Deep Immersion.

To take what we discover through yoga beyond the mat - and into the relationships, choices and challenges of real life.

And for the non-yogis: These practices become tools to support you in navigating life itself, without having to tag it with “yoga”.

Let’s dive in together 🤍

The practice keeps reminding me: we don’t have to make the whole leap at once.
A little more trust. A small adjustment. And then another.
On the mat. And in life. 🤍

Getting older is less about having it all figured out - and more about becoming brave enough to live what we already know.

Still learning. Still changing. Still starting over. And very grateful for all of it. ♥️

Don’t be afraid of following your inner voice 💞

Follow along for yoga, personal growth, honest reflections and navigating all the beautiful, messy transitions of life.

The biggest thing keeping people away from yoga retreats is the feeling that they have to be “good enough” before they come.

This is Evi, 73 years old at the time.

She sent me an email telling me her age and asking:

“Will I be able to keep up?”

It reminded me how many people talk themselves out of beautiful experiences before they’ve even begun.

Some people are intimidated to join a retreat because of fear or shame that they won’t be “good enough”.

But yoga was never asking that.

Yoga is union.

It’s the moment we stop comparing and start belonging.

Different ages.
Different bodies.
Different stories.

Yet somehow, on retreat, we become one community - learning from, supporting, and inspiring one another.

EVI IS PROOF! She became such a vital part of our retreat. She was an inspiration to everyone - unforgettable 💞 Not to mention her beautiful musical contribution during our chanting sessions. 😻

Some practices she joined.
Some she skipped.
Sometimes she chose a massage instead.

When she was on the mat, she was always curious and we simply found a way that worked for her:

Extra blankets.
Bolsters.
Blocks.
Sometimes a chair.

The same props that supported her allowed others to explore their practice more deeply.

Nobody was held back.
Everyone grew.
Together.

Including me.

So…

if you’ve been thinking about joining a retreat, but a voice keeps whispering…

“I’m not flexible enough.”
“I won’t keep up.”
“Everyone else will be better than me.”

Please don’t let that voice make another decision for you. Time to jump.

The right retreat doesn’t ask you to arrive as a better version of yourself.

You just have to arrive.

❤️

A few last spots are still available for my November retreat. If you feel tempted but unsure, reach out, and let’s have a chat.

REMINDER: You don’t need to do more.

You need a pit stop.

If you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed or mentally exhausted… this is your reminder to pause 🤍

The Founding Member round is officially full 🤩🥳

Originally, I was going to take five people.
In the end, I said yes to six.

One more woman I knew reached out last minute with words that touched me so deeply that I simply couldn’t ignore.

Six Founding Members. WELCOME 🌹

Men and women.
Five countries.
Two continents.
Three languages.

I’m in awe ♥️

Six completely different stories - so exciting!

HERE’STHE TRUTH 🥹
If I’m honest...

These past two weeks stretched me far beyond my comfort zone.

I questioned almost every email.
Every post.
Every reel.

And more than once, I wondered whether anyone was even listening.

Apparently, they were.

Thank you to everyone who read, replied, shared, encouraged me, or quietly followed this journey from the sidelines.

Deep Immersion has officially begun ✨

And I honestly can’t wait to walk alongside these six people over the next three months.

If this wasn’t your time, please know that Deep Immersion isn’t going anywhere.

If one day you feel it’s exactly what you need...

You know where to find me.

Love
Natalija

My goal as a yoga teacher has always been to help students become independent.

Almost 20 years ago, when I “accidentally” found yoga in India, I came home with one handwritten sequence from my teacher, Vinod.

That piece of paper became my practice.
For an entire year.
No studio.
No weekly classes.

Just me, my mat, and this one set sequence.
Looking back, I realise what an incredible gift that was.

Before I learnt any advanced poses, I learnt to be with myself.

That experience shaped the way I teach.
I love group classes. I love practising together. There’s so much value in it.

But I’ve been always emphasizing the importance of a home practice, a practice that belongs to them.

That’s why I give my live online morning classes as a 30-day recording.
Not so people practise with me every day.
So they slowly become confident enough to practise on their own.

Because yoga doesn’t belong to a studio.
IT BELONGS TO YOUR LIFE

Some days it’s an hour on your mat.
Some days it’s five conscious breaths before you react.
That’s yoga too.

Deep Immersion finally brings everything I’ve wanted to offer into one place.

A completely individual practice that grows with you, whether you’ve never practised yoga before or you’ve been on the mat for years.

Because my goal has never been to teach people yoga. That might sound strange, but it’s true.

It’s been to help them build a relationship with themselves.
🤍

We often call our physical practice “yoga”. But technically, it’s yogāsana - and that’s just one limb of yoga.

These poses are incredibly valuable. They strengthen the body, regulate the nervous system and cultivate awareness.

But the poses themselves won’t transform your life.

What they teach you might.

If your practice stays on the mat, it remains only one part of yoga.

If it follows you into your relationships, your conversations, your reactions, your choices and the way you meet life’s challenges...

That’s when yoga begins.

The mat is where we learn.
Life is where we practise.

🤍 What has your yoga practice taught you that has nothing to do with flexibility?

Photos from NatYoga's post 29/07/2026

A daily asana practice won’t solve your problem.
Neither will another book.
Or another podcast.

Transformation begins when we’re willing to ask ourselves better questions... and stay with the answers. STAY. Not run to the next thought 💭

Over the past few days, many of you have been asking thoughtful questions about the Deep Immersion. THANK YOU 😊

I’ve answered the most common ones here, and if one of these or any other question is still holding you back, let’s talk.

The Founding Member Circle closes on Sunday, 2 August.
