Arsenal announced that our men's first team will host Como at the Emirates Stadium in a preseason friendly on Wednesday, 12 August (kick-off: 20.30 Spanish time). The Serie A side had a successful season under ex-Gunner Cesc Fabregas, qualifying for the Champions League for the first time by finishing the 4th in the top flight of Italian football. It is expected to be our final preparation before taking on Man City in the Community Shield on Sunday, 16 August.

Arsenal are believed to have paid a fee of around £34.5 million to secure the 24-year old Ecuadorian's service until 2031.
