💡In every company, there is a person who, when she/he goes on vacation, everyone else rests.

💡FLATTERING NARCISSISTS.

Narcissists and authoritarian managers can create an atmosphere of overconfidence and invulnerability that can easily encourage their companies to engage in excessive risk-taking.

In this kind of business, dissent is stamped out, and obedient employees of thinking critically and speaking out about the company's real needs and problems.

This seemed to be the case for Lehman Brothers, one of the largest financial corporations. When it collapsed in 2008, sparking o huge global economic recession. Its last CEO was nicknamed "The Gorilla 🦍".

💡It’s not being polite, helpful, or having a good sense of humor.

👉It might be an inconvenient truth, but being likable is something we all (deep down) crave.

📌 That’s because it makes life easier.

🤩 If you think that people are born charming, you’re mistaken — likability can be learned and honed, just like any other skill.

But what is it that makes a person likable?

✅ According to this Harvard study, described in an HBR article, the secret to being more likable and improving interpersonal bonding isn’t being polite, helpful, or having a good sense of humor.

🔥It’s asking more questions🔥

💡I haven't had that for a long time.

I'm at a very exciting time in my life.🥳🤩😍
Something big is happening, a big change is happening right now, and I have this feeling of paralysis. This pleasant paralysis, the tickle in the stomach 🦋 caused by excitement and anticipation. You surely know this feeling.😆

I was planning to write a more substantive post, something smart, something ambitious, but I can't.🙆‍♂️

🙄 I sat frozen in front of my laptop for an hour and found myself accepting the top feeling.
🍭This excitement, this sweet impotence. I let it spread throughout my body, and more importantly, I let it exist.
⏳I don't rush it, I don't distract from it. I allow this exaltation to be and let myself dissolve in this exaltation.

✅ And I think I'm actually doing it for the first time in a long time that I stop controlling and start accepting. And that's it!

I came back from a two-week stay in Poland.

A time full of surprises 😅 with family and friends.

I admit that I'm happy to return to everyday life and my daily schedule.
This sweet doing nothing is great, but it's boring in the long run 😱 I need to move on.

I'll definitely eliminate some routine issues and replace them with something new.

🧐For the curious, I don't make resolutions for New Year.

I continue to achieve previously set goals.
I test new solutions and change my approach, but the goals are the same.

How about you❓ Do you like making resolutions for New Year❓

💡Before "hohoh 🎅 & Merry Christmas🎄" a true.

If you wonder why the whole family (again😱) spend Christmas with you at your place?

↪️ Maybe to remind you why you spend the rest of the year apart.

Christmas conversation with a family is necessary, but it can also be bizarre😱🎅🎄🤑.

💡What are people most afraid of?

I listened to a lecture about human fears. The lecturer discussed the results of a study in which people were asked what they fear most:

Here are the most popular answers.
1️⃣ Public appearance / public speaking.
2️⃣ Death.

The conclusion is that people at a funeral are more afraid to speak at it than to be in a coffin 😆 😁😂

💡What is stress resistance?

📍Resilience - the ability to quickly return to balance after a stressful or difficult event. In short, it can be translated as mental toughness. Plasticity or flexibility of mind expressed in resistance to harmful, unforeseen, and shocking actions. It is also the ability to gain strength and regenerate after mental trauma.

When you see in the job advertisement ➡️ high resistance to stress is required.
In principle, neuroplasticity is required (I hope recruiters know what they really want😜)

📍Neuroplasticity - changes the structures and functions of the brain under the influence of experiences. The brain learns from experience. Without experience, there is no brain learning. Therefore, in order to be resistant to frequent stressful situations, the brain should be taught (through practice) to quickly return to balance.

✅ How to do it?
The easiest and most productive way is to bring the mind into a state of calm about 5 times a day (relative relaxation for about 30s 🧠) through affirmations or positive associations (practicing the so-called gratitude works very well). All this so that new "😆happy" neural connections are created between our ears, which will "🔥fire" in the event of a crisis. In other words, additional neurons built on the basis of positive associations will "💪pull" us out of a stressful state and associate us with a positive situation, restoring sobriety of thinking (such as self-repair).

💡When motivate and when to inspire you team?
..and
What is the difference between a motivational message and an inspirational one?

🤔 To motivate or inspire teams? The most common mistake made by CEOs, sales leaders, or directors, is an error regarding the communication technique, the communication pitch addressed to the team.

Now comes the period when there will be summaries of the year, speeches, and the preparation of new goals. You have to somehow talk to the employees, sum up and somehow pass on what's next.

Team leaders and directors wonder why teams don't rush into action after hot and inspirational speeches??? Precisely because people are inspired, not motivated !!!

✅ A motivating pitch is designed to motivate action, the concept of action, taking responsibility for decisions, etc.
Use motivational talks in anticipation of performing a specific job.
(👟NIKE 🫵 advertising message: Just do it).

✅ In contrast, inspirational pitches stimulate the imagination.
You can use it to unlock potential and act on emotions. In an inspirational pitch, there is no clear message to act
(🙌 Red Bull's advertising message: "🧚‍♂️Red Bull gives you wings").

In short: The motivating pitch pushes people to, for example, build flying machines, and the inspirational one convinces that people can fly 😁

💡Why doesn’t the devil sleep?

Are you aware of how your morning routine affects your day, achieving goals, and overall performance…
I’m not writing about shallow things, but how little things can totally throw you off your balance.

It's funny, but it's a fact: your world is also ruled by small and seemingly insignificant routines. Habits more precisely, the disruption of their order, cause an explosion 💣

🎯 how pi**ed you are when there is no hot water and you can't start your day with a shower and a good shave?

🎯 how much does everything in you pulsate when the first-morning coffee is delayed?

🎯 how much do you hate it when your favorite newspaper is sold out before 8:30 in the morning?

A shower, coffee, and a press - the things that accompany you at the same time every day are of little value.

✅ These little points are like the guardians of your emotions.

✅ Your mornings actually build a feeling of confidence.

✅ Your morning habits, the order of their occurrence and frequency, prepare you physically and mentally for the challenges of the coming day.

It is said that the devil’s always awake, maybe precisely because he is afraid of losing control after waking up ...:o)

You can send it to someone and for me 👍
