❗️Barça are finalizing their bid to host the 2029 UEFA Champions League final at the newly renovated Spotify Camp Nou, with documentation due to be sent to UEFA by this Wednesday. The stadium will hold 104,600 spectators, making it the largest in Europe, and the bid has backing from both the Spanish government and Barcelona City Council.

The only competing bid comes from London's Wembley Stadium, with UEFA set to announce the chosen venue on September 15. Camp Nou previously hosted the European Cup final in 1989 and 1999, while Wembley has hosted eight finals to date.

One potential drawback for Barcelona's bid is that Spain is already set to host the 2027 final at Madrid's Metropolitano stadium.

Al-Hilal are willing to lower their asking price for João Cancelo as Barcelona push to secure the defender on a permanent transfer.
