Grateful for all the beautiful May memories 🌼💐🌞🌻
Faith Friday: episode two 🕊️
Our identity and worth is found in God, not in our bodies & not in what the world deems as beautiful or valuable.
What does stewarding our bodies well mean?
Nourishing our body.
Moving our body.
Resting our body.
Honoring our body.
But, it’s important to do these things without worshipping or idolizing our bodies.
Our worldly flesh is temporary, and our focus should be on our heart posture and relationship with Jesus.
Not our external appearance or seeking validation from man.
This is definitely something I have wrestled through, and I know I’m not alone. I’d love to hear your take in the comments 🤍
Save this for your next lower body lift⬇️
✨Warm up: ~10 minutes of dynamic stretches focused on opening up hips and warming up glutes, hamstrings, quads
1️⃣ Back Squats
2️⃣ Reverse lunges
3️⃣ Romanian deadlifts
4️⃣ Bulgarian split squats
✨Modification for at home workouts can be dumbbells for all movements
✨Choose a weight that is challenging, that brings you within a rep or two of failure
✨Think about pushing the floor away from you as you drive through your heels and middle part of your foot rather than lifting up through your head
Let me know if you want me to post more workouts in this format😊
Protein & prep: Salmon, rice & broccoli! 🥦🍚🍣
I’m all about simple meals and making multiple portions so that I save time cooking in the future.
This is a staple meal for me because it’s high protein, quick and yummy! What is your go to meal?
There’s a theme here… I value experiences, passion and fulfillment over perceived comfort, safety, and other’s opinions of me.
An expansion on my first post of 20 things I learned in my 20’s: Block out the noise.
People will always have opinions about what you are doing, and these opinions are projections of their own experiences, fears, successes, etc.
Sometimes you get wise counsel, sometimes you don’t.
It’s important to listen to others with an open mind, but prioritize what you know is your calling even when others don’t support you.
You only get one life, and you don’t want to regret not going for what you know is meant for you!
We don’t play it safe around here!! And I promise you, the sacrifices will always be made up for & the some when you are following your purpose and led by your values 🩷

Welcome, October 🍂
Leaning into gratitude, routine, and quality time with loved ones this month.
A couple habits I’m planning to stick to:
🍁 Delaying caffeine until at least an hour after waking
🍁 Daily evening walk with Dex
🍁 Journaling on Sundays
🍁 Reducing sugar intake after dinner
Small adjustments are the key to building healthy habits. My best advice is to take on one small new habit per week, prove to yourself you can stay committed, then add another small habit!
Let’s have a great month 😊
