PSA for our lovely latecomers 😂💛

Please try to arrive before class starts… because once we get going we are all in and may not be able to let you in.

What is the big deal you ask?

1. Bursting in late is basically a distrubtion for the whole class. Moving mats, distracting not to mention the teacher leavibg the room to answer the door.
2. Skipping the warm-up = your muscles filing a formal complaint tomorrow
3. We, as teachers are in the zone.

So if we refuse late entry, please don’t punish us with a spicy 1-star review 🌶️ We promise we’re not being mean — we’re just trying to keep everyone safe, focused, and vibing together

How to male your pilates class more effective.

In class i see many people holding their breath and hold that breath in the form of tension in theor shoulders, jaw ect ect. Yup people, you know who you are😄

When you exercise in Pilates, reducing tension starts with your breath. As you inhale and exhale in a controlled way, your body naturally releases unnecessary tightness and moves more efficiently. The breath helps activate your core muscles at the right time while allowing other muscles to relax instead of overworking. This leads to better posture, smoother movement, and more control in each exercise you perform.

Hot take: your Pilates instructor’s past job might matter more than their training 👀

Hear me out—dance training brings beautiful movement, control, and body awareness (so valuable 🙌). But customer service? That’s where you learn how to really read people.

You get good at noticing when someone feels unsure, adapting how you explain things, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome—not judged.

And honestly… that vibe can make or break a class.

The best instructors? Probably a mix of both. Strong knowledge and strong people skills.

Because it’s not just about how well you move—it’s about how you make people feel ✨
