Today we leave Lake Como, Italy following a fantastic week of sailing at the 2018 NACRA15 Europeans. After a rough start to the regatta with no racing on the practice race day due to storms and then a light day to follow with less than ideal results, the weather turned around providing us with three sunny 15-18knot days and Jake and Brin managed to climb up the ladder to finish 9th. For Brin his first international regatta and Jake the new challenge of crewing, this regatta was a fantastic learning experience. Thank you to everyone that made this event possible for us and congratulations to all the sailors that competed.

After being home for a few weeks now Jake and Emma have had a nice break and are ready to get stuck back into some training on the beautiful Lake Macquarie.

That’s a wrap for the Nacra 15 Worlds 2018 here in Barcelona. Some very light conditions here with plenty of lessons. Not the result we came for but onwards and upwards from here!
