Hace casi un mes, las Olimpiadas de Martorell nos dejaron una evidencia muy clara: cuando el deporte se acompaña desde una mirada educativa y social, su impacto va mucho más allá de la actividad física.

Lo vivido ese día conecta plenamente con el enfoque de Edu4Impact, proyecto europeo Erasmus+ del que sport2live forma parte, centrado en potenciar la formación de profesionales del deporte y de la educación de personas adultas mediante la aplicación del Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) a través del deporte.

Este enfoque pone el foco en competencias esenciales para la inclusión y el bienestar: autoconocimiento, gestión emocional, empatía, habilidades relacionales, toma de decisiones y construcción de entornos más seguros e inclusivos. En este sentido, experiencias como Martorell muestran cómo el deporte puede convertirse en una herramienta concreta de cohesión social, participación y desarrollo personal.

Dar visibilidad a Edu4Impact es también poner en valor una manera de intervenir con mayor profundidad, impacto y sostenibilidad social. Un enfoque que ofrece recursos, formación y una visión transformadora para profesionales que trabajan en inclusión, vulnerabilidad, adicciones, salud mental y comunidad.

After several days of training, learning and sharing experiences in Palermo, our Sport2Live team is coming back home with new ideas, new perspectives and a lot of inspiration. 🎓✨

The final day of the Edu4Impact LTTA training was especially meaningful. We worked on Self-Awareness through reflection, group sharing and a guided meditation session led by our Greek partners, Drosostalida. It was a moment to pause, listen to ourselves and better understand the role emotions play in our personal and professional growth.

We also explored Self-Management in a very different and powerful way: connecting Social-Emotional Learning with dog training and pet therapy. Thanks to Professor Giovanni Giacobbe and Sassodisale, we experienced how animals can help us understand presence, trust, limits and emotional regulation from a very practical perspective. 🐾

At Sport2Live, we believe that these learning spaces are essential to keep improving the way we support people through sport, emotional education and social inclusion.
