CicloFest Montanejos, sábado 17 de octubre. La hacemos como club social.🚴🏻‍♀️

113 km, 2.001 m, salida a las 8:30 desde la Fuente de los Baños. Catorce términos municipales por el Alto Mijares hasta Teruel. Cronometrada, pero no competitiva. Avituallamientos, asistencia mecánica, fideuà en meta y música en la plaza después.

Domingo opcional: cronoescalada de 4 km al Campo de Tiro, sin tráfico y con premios en metálico.

Dos formas de hacerlo:
A. Marcha, fiesta y a casa el sábado noche.
B. Nos quedamos. Cronoescalada el domingo y luego las aguas termales a 25º. Recuperación resuelta.

Nosotros llevamos el transporte tuyo y de la bici, y el alojamiento para quien haga la B. Familias bienvenidas, hay circuito infantil junto al río.

Los tres clubes más numerosos se llevan un jamón. Siendo 10 es nuestro.

🚴 Saturday Social Ride | Back to Business

After the easier summer routes, we’re back with a longer ride this Saturday!

Join Pedal & Pause for a social road ride from Benicàssim. A friendly, relaxed group ride with no one left behind, followed by a well-earned coffee.

📍 Start: Madre Superiora, Benicàssim
🕗 8:00am
🚴 84 km | 741 m elevation

This week we head inland through Cabanes, Vilanova d’Alcolea, La Torre d’en Doménec and Torreblanca, with quiet roads, rolling terrain and a few good climbs.

🚴‍♀️ CicloFest Montanejos — Let’s Go as Pedal & Pause!

Based in Benicàssim and fancy a proper cycling adventure? 🇪🇸🚴‍♂️

On Saturday 17 October, Pedal & Pause is heading to CicloFest Montanejos — and we want you to come with us.

Think 113 km • 2,001 m elevation • spectacular Alto Mijares scenery • 14 municipalities • all the way into Teruel.

And the best bit? You don't have to organise the logistics. We do.

And if you want to make a weekend of it…

Ride → finish → fideuà → music → home Saturday night.

Stay overnight → 4 km Sunday hill climb on closed roads → cash prizes → then 25° thermal pools to recover. ♨️

We'll sort the transport, your bike and accommodation for those choosing option B.

👨‍👩‍👧 Families are welcome too, with a kids' circuit by the river.

And there's one more reason to get your mates involved…

🏆 The three biggest clubs on the start line win a jamón.

This isn't about racing. It's about getting out of Benicàssim, riding somewhere spectacular, having a great day with good people — and doing it together.

2027 is open, and we're starting with the one that started everything.

UNCHAINED, our signature event, is first on the 2027 calendar. Here is the
full film from April.

Two Aprils in Benicàssim so far. The first was small. Coffee on the terrace
before anyone was properly awake, climbs through the Desert de les Palmes,
long descents into villages where nothing was open, and the jump into the
pool that was non-negotiable by day two. Then the national power cut, and a
support van that became a kitchen at the side of the road.

The second was double the size and somehow just as close. 196km and 3,200m
at the Mediterranean Epic Gran Fondo, three thousand riders on the start
line. One of our guests finished fifth woman overall. The rest got as far
as the heat and the cramp allowed, with someone from our team alongside
them the whole way. Both of those are the right result.

Riders from Colorado, Vermont, Ireland, Scotland, France and England, in
one villa, at very different levels. One of them was back with us for her
fourth visit to this coast.

In May, Sportive.com came to ride here and called it "the secret Spain".

April 2027 is the third edition. Pre-registration is open now, ahead of

WHAT A DAY!! came home and we wanted to get our COMMUNITY together for the big day.

The summary…we served over 500 refreshments, cake, coffees to the cycling fans that came to the Desierto de Las Palmas. The CROWD filled up the ascend to the Bartolo, and what a show they put on for the PROS that responded by delivering one of the most beautiful shows in the sport.

If you missed it….WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO TRY AND BEAT Pogi’s time??

MENUDO DIA!! vino a nuestra casa y queríamos juntar a nuestra COMUNIDAD ciclista para el gran día.

El resumen, más de 500 refrescos además de nuestro nuevo café de especialidad, tartas repartidas a los aficionados/as que vinieron hasta el Desierto de Las Palmas. ESTOS respondieron inundando la subida al Bartolo con un espectáculo y los PROS respondieron de una manera IMPRESIONANTE con uno de los mejores shows vistos en el deporte.

Ven en bici y encuéntranos en la carpa de Pedal & Pause a partir de las 12:00.
