Fun in the Sun

It was a pleasure for BBC to host 20 bowlers and their guests from Sawbridgeworth. The games were played in a great atmosphere with plenty of laughter and smiling faces. Who could not enjoy such great company, with a competitive game of bowls in such fine weather. BBC took the honours – but who cares! We will all remember a great day out.

Several teams attended El Cid Bowls Club from up and down the Costa Blanca and beyond, for their annual Aussie Pairs tournament over the last 2 days. Some great bowling and a tight finish. The BBC team (photo below) of Dave Dickinson and Richard Potts held on to win. They were closely followed by Greg & Christina and in third place Yvonne and Dave Hall. Well done El Cid for running another excellent tournament.

Excellent event organised by Solar in Spain today at Benitachell Bowls Club with more than 30 people attending. The lively presentation gave the audience an excellent understanding of Solar systems, heat pumps and car chargers. We really value community events like this allowing members, friends and local people to meet up, learn whats available and improve their property.
