This morning, Oza was on a photo shooting session at the “Musée du Tour” in Pau.
She was so happy to be on the site that once was a velodrome...
Back in the early 20th century, the Bois-Louis velodrome was the home of the first track races in the region.
Our founder Joseph Habierre won a race here in 1907.
That's why almost 120 years later Oza was happy. And so were we.

This just in: we are to sign two new partnerships with bike shops!
One in Bordeaux, France, and one in Santander, Spain.
Both called us, not the other way around.
This is the proof that we are on the right track...

We at Royal Asport Cycleworks set out to ride, observe and understand a territory.

The result is now published in the August issue of Le Cycle, the reference magazine in France for performance cycling : a feature dedicated to La Isolé sportive event and Western Aragon.

Last spring, over two days in the field, we explored and documented a selection of routes built from years of riding, local knowledge and terrain reading. The routes were designed specifically for this editorial, based on our own field experience and knowledge of the territory. The landscape guided the work, and the images followed.

This is exactly what Editorial Recon stands for at Royal Asport Cycleworks: starting from the ground, and guiding media and creative teams toward places, light and atmospheres that reveal themselves through experience.

From the roads of Jacetania to a winter shoot inside La Verna, the approach remains the same: begin with the territory, and let the story emerge.

If you are working on a story and looking for a different approach, let’s discuss.

-------------
Our new acquisition, for our Borau museum.
A magnificent "touring" from the late 50s, fully functional.
Just the saddle that requires a short passage to the workshop 😉

For years, the cycling industry has been creating more and more categories.

At Pyrenees Cycling Group, we're taking a different approach.

We start with people.
With places.
With the simple joy of riding.

That's the idea behind everything we do:
🚲 Royal Asport Cycleworks is our global home for bespoke bicycles, exclusive builds, and heritage restorations. We create bicycles for riders looking for something truly personal - performance machines built to last and to create memories, not just KOMs.
🚲 Cycles Regina Sport is our regional brand, serving France and Spain. It is our home for cycling differently: touring, commuting, bikepacking, and everyday adventures. Honest bicycles. Timeless design. Durable. Easy to repair. Built to be ridden for decades, even in the toughest conditions.

These two brands don't compete, they complement each other.

Around them, we've brought together a carefully selected group of partners who share the same philosophy:
• Rodeo Adventure Labs for modern adventure riding.
• Velo Orange for timeless touring bicycles and beautifully functional components.
• Wolf Tooth Components for precision engineering and thoughtful design.
• TriRig.com for riders pursuing uncompromising performance.

We're not trying to represent every brand. We're choosing the brands we'd proudly ride ourselves.

This philosophy already has a name: Alt Cycling.

A different way of thinking about bicycles.
Less driven by trends.
More inspired by freedom, durability, craftsmanship, and the experiences a bicycle makes possible.

Because, at the end of the day, the bicycle isn't the destination.
It's how we discover the world - even the one just around the corner - and how we share it with others.

Ride. Enjoy. Share.

Royal Asport 1958 frameset, made for the Spanish team KAS. This very frameset has ridden Le Tour de France.
Today, we want to build a restomod bicycle with it.
Modern components, such as carbon wheels and wireless derailleurs.
To make the bicycle as light as possible, and ride it next year at La Isolé 2027.
----------------
