♻️ From marine litter to dive weights ⚓

During our dives around Menorca, we regularly recover lost fishing sinkers from the seabed.

While they may seem small, these abandoned pieces of lead accumulate over time and become part of the human impact on the marine environment.

Instead of leaving them underwater, we give them a second life.

🔨 Once recovered, the lead is sorted, cleaned, and melted down to create new dive weights used by our divers.

A simple example of circular economy in action: turning waste into a useful resource while helping keep our underwater world cleaner.

🌊 Every dive is an opportunity not only to explore the Mediterranean, but also to help protect it.

A big thank you to all the divers who contribute to these efforts and prove that small actions can make a real difference.

What is slow diving to us? 🪼

Slow diving is more than just diving slowly.

It’s about reconnecting with the ocean, respecting marine life, and letting every dive become a moment of exploration and presence.

Unlike “classic” diving, where the goal is often to go deeper, faster, or see as much as possible, slow diving invites you to pause and truly observe.

It means noticing the tiny nudibranch hidden on a rock, watching an octopus change colour, following the movement of a shoal of fish, or simply floating in silence with the sea.

No rush, no pressure — just calm breathing, curiosity, and the beauty of the underwater world at its own rhythm.

A more conscious way to dive.
A more peaceful way to experience Menorca. 🌊
