3 young people have been found dead in the mountains this week. We have had very changeable weather with wind, rain and snow. The civil guard have yet again advised:
“The mountains of Granada, which at first may seem easy for walks and excursions, especially for people who do not know the terrain, hide the dangers of a very changeable weather and sudden cold that can cause problems even for the most experienced climbers. . The Mountain Rescue and Intervention Group (GREIM) of the Civil Guard of Granada regularly carry out rescues throughout the year in different areas of the Sierra Nevada, the majority due to negligence by hikers or hikers, and due to ignorance about the land.”
