Spending individual moments with each child is the key for understanding their uniqueness.
Two days in a row I was given some extra one on one time with my youngest.. and I was again reminded of how humorous she is 😆 Amidst life's bustling rhythms, routines, sibling rivalis and daily obligations, I often overlook the need to intentionally carve out moments where I simply watch her being silly. And it is truly contagious and inspires me to take things not too seriously and even laugh at myself when things don't go as planned.

It’s a week after our 10th wedding anniversary and I am looking at this beloved mango tree while I water it 🥭It was gifted by my husband to US as a family tree 🌳A tree with a special meaning. We not just all love mangos BUT we also got married in Indonesia, the land of the best mangos 🙌🏼 and NOW.. 10 years, a cat, 2 kids and a house later.. we are planting our own tree in our own backyard with 4 almost ripe fruits hangging from its branches. And I am again reminded how lucky I am 💖Thank you life for bringing me to this exact right moment with the exact right man 🙏🏼 # familytree

I love early mornings when it feels like the
rest of the world is still deep asleep and you are the only one who's wide awake and everything feels somehow unreal like you are inbetween two worlds. And you kind of forget about all the things you have to do that day because for now it's just you and the sun 🌅

Make EATING JOYFUL - it`s the key essence for creating a healthy relationship with food.
Don`t just serve them food. Get creative and make it fun. Decorate their meals in cool new ways.
Try new recipes and allow them to help. Let them choose the fruits they want to blend in their smoothies or even allow them to cut their own veggies. Nowadays there are great nylon and wooden knifes on the market which makes it easy to include them in the kitchen and play it safe.
And implement fruits and veggies in the not so healthy choices and balance it that way.
Simply arranging their pancake in a silly monster face might turn around the sleepiest morning toddler.

If today feels difficult what it does after only 3hrs of sleep I remember what once says:

comes on, the color of the sky at dusk.. and that we are here to take care of each other.

Never in a million years did I think we would find THE 🙌🏼 perfect place for us.
I mean, of course did I pray and trust in the universe... but HEY, we definitely weren't the easiest of clients 😂 We've traveled quite a bit and seen so many incredible places that we had pretty high (unrealistic) expectations. So we started writing them down, like we always do when we approach a new dream. And it sounded something like this:
1. a tropical place in Europe so we can grow our own bananas and mangos
2. a little boho hippie place like Byron Bay but with Ibiza flair AND with a lot less tourists
3. definitely a bit of Bali spirit to top it off BUT if possible, no island this time - so we can just go whenever we feel like it, in our future RV (never stop dreaming)
4. a coast like in Portugal - small clean beaches, rough edges and crystal clear water
5. breathtaking nature with many possibilities for outdoorsi stuff
6. a like-minded community
7. a Waldorf school nearby (max. 10 min. driving time) and of course
8. close to a well connected airport (max. driving time 1 hr.)
So there we were with this list in our hand thinking we will NEVER find this place... if only we had known, we definitely would have been more relaxed 😅

We love Fruits. Especially mango 🥭
It`s one of those fruits you can eat with almost everything. We enjoy it fresh, have it in smoothies, on top of salads, in poke bowls or spring rolls, as a topping on cake or ice cream or bottled up as chutney along side with our favorite Indian dishes.
But besides looking super bright in colour which triggers our feel good hormones, they also taste amazing and are packed with tons of vitamins like Vitamin C. They have high levels of antioxidants which work like a super shield against free radicals (UV light) and are therefore one of the best Spring/Summer foods 🙌🏼☀️😎

I can’t believe we have our very own garden. 🤩 This was a dream for so long 🙌🏼 Planting seeds with the kids and making our hands dirty in soil became our most favorite thing 🌳
We have been so lucky that there was already a huge avocado tree in our backyard which was also the main reason why we bought this house 😄 Besides that, there was already an old fig tree, 4 orange trees and one pomegranate tree. So we additionally planted persimmon, plum, chiromaya, mango, papaya, passionfruit, banana, lemon, lime, grapefruit and kiwi. And so far it looks like we only lost one due to unexpected cold weather 💪🏼
We are currently working on our veggie patch and I cant wait to soon harvest homegrown kale, spinach and sun ripe tomatoes 🌱🍅😋

In times when life happens and you are too busy to cook a proper meal but still want to eat healthy ⏰ When you rather spend time cuddling with your loved ones, read a book or bake a cake. Or in times when your kids are sick and you don’t have spare energy to prepare an extensive meal. Then this is my number one go to: ROASTED VEGGIES 🥕 🥦 🥔 with whatever dip I have at hand. We mostly enjoy it along with hummus or some version of tahini lemon dressing or simply with ketchup. Either way delicious and super easy to make 😋

Autumn remedies 🍂
Currently suffering from an achy throat which I always do as soon as it gets cold and dry. Overall my family and I are hardly getting sick what I think is the result of taking good care of ourselves throughout the year with a wholesome plantbased nutrition which includes lots of fresh fruits and veggies and lots of water.
And if we do get sick we take extra good care of our health. We add immune boosting smoothies, we drink even more herbal tea and we add additional wholesome supplements like the ones from .
I am not an all for supplement kind of person but I do think that our bodies need some extra support during certain periods of life like when we are overly stressed and don’t find the time to prepare a wholesome lunch, when we are sick or not getting enough sleep. All these factors diminish our absorption of vitamins and minerals, in particular the one of Vitamin C.
IMMUNE BOOSTER SMOOTHIE 🍑🍊🍌
2 ripe bananas
2 soft persimmons
1 / 2 cup orange juice
1 / 2 cup water or more if needed
4 tbsp natural plantbased yoghurt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
A pinch of tumeric
Blend everything together. Pour in your favorite glass, sprinkle with some raw cocoa nips and enjoy
