Bagnaia is not lying about his bike's problem after all...

Photos from Naked Motogp's post 24/06/2025

Mugello 2024 : Bagnaia P1 - 40' 51"
Mugello 2025 : Marquez P1 - 41' 09".
Bagnaia P4 - 41' 14"
Bagnaia raced 23" slower than himself last year.

Mugello 2025: It was meant to be Bagnaia's turning point: It wasn't. We heard the same since the beginning of the season: lack of confidence with bike's front.
The obvious question that should be asked (and that I don't hear from any journalist in any language) is: "Pecco, why don't you go back to the GP24 and give it a go?" It's like the elephant in the room, but nobody asks it.

Marc Marquez was meant to limit the damage here, instead he takes everything - again. The championship took a clear direction, barring catastrophic events.

Same screenplay for Alex too, fast enough to be there, not fast enough to worry Marc.

Special mention for Diggia, great podium in his home GP, always a bit closer to the top.

For the record:
Mugello 2024 , Bagnaia P1 - 40' 51"
Mugello 2025, Marquez P1 - 41' 09".
Bagnaia P4 - 41' 14"
Bagnaia raced 23" slower than himself last year.

Welcome to MotoGP Toprak Razgatlıoglu !

Aragon 2025: Marc Marquez is Marc Marquez. Nothing more to say.
Alex Marquez: he looks like the bodyguard of Marc but the truth is that it's not easy to be the brother of one of the strongest of all times. I wish him the speed and confidence to fight against Marc for the rest of the championship.
Pecco: a good enough 3rd place only 2 seconds from the lead, he's happy, the whole team is happy. I add: a 2 times MotoGP world champion who's happy for a 3rd place shows what a mess he's been in.
Pedro Acosta: it'd be great to have him back all the time fighting for the top spots. Transfer-market rumors have him leaving KTM already next year.

Le Mans 2025: ZARCODAY.
Winning tyre-strategy by Mr. Cecchinello with Zarco locked in a mystical bubble, not interested in easing off, he pushes until the end and wins the race with 20 secs gap on M.Marquez - ONE second per lap.
Marquez with one eye on the championship "settles" for a precious second place that brings him to +22 in the general standing.
Bagnaia disaster, arguably his worst weekend ever in his darkest period ever. We expect him to go on the attack in the rest of the championship because this is not ok at all.
Alex Marquez could have limited the damage, instead he crashes twice. Aldeguer instead takes home a great podium, we believe the first of many.
Quartararo too eager because far from the action for too long, crashes prematurely, a lost occasion as we think he could have done well in these conditions and in his home Gran Prix.

Jerez 2025
The beginning of the race was incredible, just what we've been waiting for since the beginning of the season: Pecco VS Marc.
It was a tough duel but within the limits.
Bagnaia shows "balls" when it comes to fighting against Marquez. And Marquez made two mistakes only when pressured by Bagnaia. Maybe a coincidence, who knows...
What's sure is that Jerez clarified that beating each other is their priority. Marc threw away an almost certain victory as he was lapping as fast (or slow?) as Pecco, but with a bike destroyed on one side.

With Marc out, Pecco seemed satisfied, as if beating Marc is already a victory. He seemed to be losing that fire that was needed to pass Fabio, which was probably within reach.

As a matter of fact Ducati Lenovo was beaten by a private team and its very consistent rider who is capable to gain from this cockfight.

Argentina 2025: some considerations.
* In this Ducati single-brand championship, if you have any other bike, at the moment, you can't win. As simple as that. We're waiting for Martin's return to see the true level of Aprilia. Fingers crossed.
* Marquez is in an incredible form, he's killing the championship and the morale of everyone else.
* Alex seems to be the only one capable of keeping up with his brother, but we know that Alex is not at a level that worries Marc.
* Pecco must find the right path and return to the Pecco #1 we know or else the championship will be over by the summer break. We know Pecco's value, in recent years he has been consistently ahead of Alex, we see no reason why it can't happen again this year.

01/07/2024

* Pecco's weekend is impossible to describe. Any adjective you searched for, would be superfluous. We just say: FP1, PR, FP2, Q2, SPRINT, RACE, all time record, race record. Perhaps even sighting lap, airport-circuit, hotel-hospitality 😆
Super-chav the smoke on the podium Francesco Bagnaia
* Martin brings home as much as possible. Jorge Martín Almoguera
* Bastianini confirms himself as the record holder of the second half of the race. It'd be great to see a race where he's battling in the front from the beginning... Enea Bastianini
* Next one turns left so watch out for Marc Marc Márquez
PS. Marc, pump the front up a touch more next time, just in case...

Mugello 2024 - Race

* Pecco is Pecco: a two consecutive times MotoGP world champion who arrives at his home Grand Prix as the favourite one, and brings home Sprint and Race. 37 points, full house.
He's the one who carries the #1 on is bike, and that's not by mistake.
First masterpiece of the day: from 5th to 1st in two corners. Francesco Bagnaia
* Bastianini: what a race, Enea! He falls asleep halfway through the race and Marquez's overtaking wakes him up (by his own admission). Upon waking up, he realizes he is faster than that, first he gives Marquez a "Marquez-style" overtaking and then he signs the second masterpiece of the day: he enters the last corner of the last lap on Jorge Martin (the leader of the championship, not just any one) at a point where normal humans can not pass. But he doesn't know it, and he passes anyway. Worth the ticket price. Enea Bastianini

Barcellona 2024 - Race
* Francesco Bagnaia had to bring it home in such a difficult moment, and so he did: a quality that only great champions have. He overtakes the championship leader in turn 5, where he crashed on Saturday. He reminded us why he's got the #1 on the bike.
* Jorge Martín Almoguera is always there and never gives up, he wants everyone to know that even though he hasn't got the #1 (yet), he is the one to beat this year.
* Marc Márquez does "the Marquez" and finishes 3rd starting 14 - with a significant gap, ok - but with 11 overtakings and a risky soft tyre. He's also there for the championship, undeniably.
* Pedro Acosta 31 needs someone to explain to him that if he gives 99% and not 101%, he'll be in for the championship as early as this year. Listen to us Pedrooooooo!
* Enea Bastianini eternal promise, however we are confident that the promise will soon be kept as the talent is there.
* Aleix Espargaró below expectations compared to what he showed us on Saturday's Sprint.
* Ducati Corse is still the strongest bike.

What a MotoGP guys!
