Subimos a la cumbre para disfrutar del atardecer sobre la isla y bajamos directos a la ciudad para rematar la jornada alrededor de una buena mesa.

For me, a truly premium cycling experience in Gran Canaria comes down to three things:
Absolute silence: Just your breath and the sound of your chain.
Flawless, empty roads: Perfect asphalt all to yourself.
The sea of clouds: Riding literally above the atmosphere.

Para mí, una verdadera experiencia premium sobre dos ruedas en Gran Canaria se resume en tres cosas:
El silencio absoluto: Tu respiración y el sonido de la cadena.
Carreteras impecables y vacías: Kilómetros de asfalto perfecto solo para ti.
El mar de nubes: Rodar literalmente por encima de la atmósfera.

It might not be the most famous side of the island, but it’s probably the one that surprises people the most when they discover Gran Canaria by bike.

The northwest has something special.
Quiet roads, endless valleys, charming little villages and that constant feeling of exploring a hidden corner of the island.

Quizás no sea la vertiente más conocida de la isla, pero probablemente sí la que más sorprende a quienes vienen a descubrir Gran Canaria sobre la bicicleta.

El noroeste tiene algo especial.
Carreteras solitarias, barrancos infinitos, pequeños pueblos con encanto y esa sensación constante de estar explorando un rincón escondido de la isla.

It was your first time on the island and it was a real pleasure to share so many kilometres together on the bike.
We were lucky with a wonderful day, sunshine and incredible views across the rest of the Canary Islands. One of those rides that truly stays with you.

I hope the journey back to your home city of Madrid isn’t too cold… You know you have a home here whenever you feel like coming back to ride.

Era tu primera vez en la isla y ha sido un auténtico placer compartir contigo tantos kilómetros sobre la bicicleta.
Nos acompañó un día espectacular, con sol y una visibilidad increíble del resto de las Islas Canarias; de esos que se quedan grabados.

Espero que la vuelta a tu Madrid natal no sea demasiado fría… Aquí ya sabes que tienes tu casa para cuando quieras volver a rodar.

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Canary Islands Day than on the bike, together 🇮🇨🚴‍♂️

On May 30th, we’ll meet at Saroje Shop (Hotel Amadores View) to share a coffee, ride some great roads in the south of the island and enjoy the day as a community.

Back at the hotel, we’ll wrap it up with pizzas and a toast to our island.
