Schedule for refrees
Friday January 17th
11.00 – 12.30 Referee meeting for all participating referees
12.30 – 13.30 Lunch
13.30 – 18.00 Referee meeting

Saturday: Preliminary rounds on 2 tatami’s (depending on the number of registrations we might use 3 tatami's)
Sunday: Quarter finals, semi finals and finals on 1 tatami

We need 40 referees for 2 tatami’s and 60 for 3 tatami’s. From all registrations (through this form) Shihan Michael Söderkvist will select all refereees. We will make very diverse teams with referees from different organizations and countries. We will make sure that referees on the tatami will be from a different country as the fighters on the tatami. Our goal is to have a fair and equal tournament for all fighters.

Out of all applications the referee committee will select the approved referees and send them a confirmation.
All approved referees will get information regarding the rules of WFKO so that they can study the rules and regulations. Also some video clips will provided.

We want to advise all referees to arrive on Thursday as we will start early on Friday with the course. The referee course will be held in the official hotel Ramada Plaza Antwerp. You can book your accommodation at this hotel through www.efko.be
