One week after the final whistle, we say goodbye to the World Cup. Not forever. Just for another four years.

The tournament is probably the closest thing we have to world peace. It is the only event that gets the whole planet to agree on a date, sit in the same rows, and care about the same thing at the same time.

Life keeps moving. New chapters open. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, the most beautiful thing we can do as human beings is sit still and enjoy the beautiful game.
