Today was concentrating on stretching, alignment, lengthening, elegance and elongation.

⬆️stretching those hamstrings

↕️pointing & flexing the foot

⭕️small circles with the toe pointed

🍏keeping that core engaged throughout

🚰toe taps, for control

⬇️single leg lower, for balance & core strength

🔵larger leg circles keeping hips aligned

So you don’t have weights at home? I grabbed a bag of rice and a bag of quinoa. Keep moving!!
Keep your hips still so your twists, using your obliques. Keep your knees squeezed together. Exhale to twist, inhale on the return. Engage that core and lengthen you’re legs as you go. Add a bicep curl just for fun!! More to follow... stay fit!

Eating too much and bored of Netflix?
Let’s plank to keep those energy levels high and those muscles working.
4 different ways that you can try.
Push yourself up using both hands.
Keep your core engaged. - imagine your jeans are too tight and you want to hold yourself in 😛
Step 1: supporting leg in front keeping it bent. Support yourself with your forearm too.
Step 2: straighten both legs. Support yourself with your forearm and side of your foot.
Step 3: come onto your hand. Keep fingers spread. Front leg bent.
Step 4: straighten both legs.
Don’t forget to breathe 😝
Put on your 3 favorite tracks, sing to your hearts content and have happy positive thoughts.
Build up on your time everyday, and when lockdown is over we’ll be full of energy and fitter!!

Open Leg Rocker.
I adore this intermediate exercise.
Helps develop your core control & pelvic stability. Helps with your coordination & balance & is fun to do.
It’s all about the breath. Exhale on the roll down, take a quick inhale at the bottom and exhale to roll up. Balance then go again. For beginners try rolling with your hands behind your knees keeping your legs slightly bent and go for it!
