Cortijo Rio Grande

Cortijo Rio Grande is a friendly family run business which will give you the opportunity to discover the real Spain in the heart of the Malaga province.

We are located in the small village of Coin at 6 km from the town centre, and only half an hour from Malaga airport.

The Cortijo is situated by the Rio Grande river which is surrounded by fields and woodland which makes the place very quiet and ideal for a relaxing holiday, whether you decide to come with the family or a group of friends. The Cortijo sleeps 7 people comfortably being 3 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom. With the usual refinements. A basic welcome pack is provided upon arrival.

We give you the opportunity to discover the surroundings on horse back however if you are not a horse rider, there are plenty of cycle and walking routes to discover the beauties on the countryside.

You will be able to enjoy the sunshine and peace laid by the pool which is open from March to October. The barbecue area is open all year round.
Just remember that we enjoy nearly 360 days for sunshine a year.

Our hacks are normally 2 to 3 hours ride however we can offer a range of different hacks from a minimum of 2 hours up to 6 hours including a lunch.

Due to the fact that horses are animals and are unpredictable, we expect all guests to respect the house/riding rules. A list can be provided if requested prior to your arrival. We live in separate accommodation onsite, therefore should any accidents or problems happen, we are accessible.

We do not provide riding hats and recommend you bring your own.
