3rd Transnational project meeting (27-29 July, Madrid)
Spanish Futsal Players Association of Spain (AJFS - Asociación de Jugadores de Fútbol Sala) hosted and organized the 3rd Transnational meeting of the project "Life After Sport", coordinated by Champions Factory (Bulgaria).
The meeting was attended by, in addition to the coordinator, the other organizations that are part of the project: University Of Thessaly (Greece), Mine Vaganti NGO (Italy) and Prva riječka hrvatska gimnazija (Croatia), except IKOS - Istanbul Culture & Sport Association (Turkey), due to the impossibility of travelling through the pandemic situation.
During this meeting the organizations presented the workshops held, in particular the Greek, Croatian and Spanish organizations. On the other hand, we worked on the next phase of the project, unifying all the workshops and development of guidance to fulfill the goal of this project, aims to develop an innovative programme to support dual careers that facilitates an optimal combination of high-quality training and education to young athletes using face-to-face workshops. The programme will target athletes between 15-18 years old, special critical age in which sport and professional transitions take place.
The dates for the last meeting of this project, the final event in Sofia, the headquarters of the project coordinator, scheduled for 12 and 13 November, were also shared.
We are confident that this project and the guide obtained will be able to implement with young athletes.
