A special tournament for all the players involved (organization , players, coaches, public) who provided a true show of padel at a national level.

In this several athletes took part in the Men's and Women's categories.

In Women's 1, the player conceded in the first round of the main draw. A match in which her opponents were more competent in various aspects of the game.

The player , together with her partner , who integrated the team in a very professional, selfless and positive way, undoubtedly a plus for everyone, reached the semi-finals where they conceded to and , the world's TOP 30 pair.

In Men's 1, .monteir0 was unable to get past the first qualifying match for the main draw.

The player made it through to the quarter-finals of the main draw, with a well-drilled display alongside , who integrated our team with an irreproachable contribution on and off the court. This partnership led to victory against .capra (RANK 18 WPT) and (RANK 53 WPT).

In the semi-finals, the match opposed & (RANK 32 WPT) in which we lost 6-4 in 2 sets marked by some inconsistency, unforced errors and greater skill on the part of our opponents.

Thank you to the players involved who gave me the opportunity to be present in this tournament, that may have been the best of the year in Portugal.

Today, an honorable mention to the youngest padel player in Fran Training Center

Our journey completes 1 year next month, August 2023. The goal was settled from the beginning trying to be more competitive in FPP (Portuguese Padel Federation) Tour first Category.

For that purpose, we started to build a technical team composed by a physical coach ( ) and a sport psychologist among others.

Our journey has been marketed by positive confronts, changing ideas, respect, commitment, trust, and ambition.

So far, we were able to achieve many semi-finals or finals stages in several tournaments, where we must highlight:
- Absolute Championship Semi-Finals;
- 🥇Under 16 National Champion, 2023;

As everything in our life, we also must be thankful to all parties involved such as partners, old-coaches, friends, family nucleus, etc.

We must value the most important active in a padel player, the game level.

No expectations, down to earth mind-set, hardwork and fun throughout the teaching learning process.

PADEL POP M80 PROGRAM - BY RADIO M80 ‼

At the invitation of the cast of the PADEL POP M80 program composed by the illustrious - , , @ luisnunes664 - I was able to live my first experience at , where I was given the opportunity to share my path in padel, vision and approach the development and current events of the Fran Padel Project training center.

🥉 European Games 2023, Krakow, Poland

The adventure was initially marked by constant doubts, lack of identity, fears associated with decision-making and low levels of fun.

Our motivation is fundamentally intrinsic, with a focus on a well-defined objective, and a profile based on commitment, autonomy and work capacity.

Today, our journey is highlighted by the fact that reached Olympus, and with it, he took me, as I achieved third place at the 2023 European Games in Krakow, Poland.

Thanks for believing in the technical and tactical process, and above all, for the proactive attitude in the work developed for the proposed objectives.

Players have a fundamental role in building coaches, because without good raw material it is difficult to achieve titles.

A player's greatest asset is his level of play, for that, he has to nourish himself with a structure made up of several departments (Physical Trainer - ), Psychologist, Coach, Nutrition, Family Nucleus, Friends, etc) to achieve your goal day after day, to be the best possible.

To former coaches, former partners, collaborative academies and all third parties who were part of this athlete's journey, my congratulations, because this victory is also the fruit of your grain of sand.

First of all thank you and for giving me this amazing opportunity to coach you from the bench in such an important tournament.

A few words for our rivals who played very well against us, pushing us to the limit and with a personalized performance.

For the duo under my command, it was nice to see the team work throughout this final. We showed our bravery, focus, humility, confidence in our own abilities and determination.

keep working to achieve your medium-long term goals, as your potential is unbelievable.

Special mention for you : our journey started in August, three weeks before , with the intention of preparing your game against and , where unfortunately we lost 6-2/7-6.

Then, you decide to trade your life in Spain for Portugal, start a hybrid system, and even choose me as your head coach for the 2022 season, a decision that went against all odds with many considering it as true madness.

As Aristotle said, "No great genius ever existed without some touch of madness." Your brilliant idea of ​​putting that responsibility on my shoulders to help you live your dream has been a real adventure.

The path traced so far has not been bad at all:

Dubai Padel World Championship

The last few days have been incredible for the Portuguese Padel Community (Padel Clubs, Professional and Social Padel Players, Professional and Social Coaches, Padel Entrepreneurs, etc).

We were able to witness how the Portuguese padel level is growing all over the world through this excellent tournament.

Our players were extremely committed, courageous and competitive to raise our flag to the fullest through an excellent performance in every match. We cannot demand more when you have given everything you had to defend our colors.

Congratulations to all those who were behind the scenes supporting our national team - Technical, Physical and Health Teams - also to the main protagonists, our Male and Female Players.

A special mention to with whom I recently started working as his coach: PROUD to see you being yourself inside a padel court. Going up and down is part of the sport, but whoever experiences these emotions is living the dream! Embrace them more than ever because we have many stones to BREAK! 💪

Last Wednesday, I had the opportunity to sit on the bench of the Portuguese duo and who received a Wild Card for round 16 of the Cascais

First of all, I'd like to thank them to trust me to be in their bench against an expert double as .ml10 and coached by .rodriguez7

Second, I would like to give my congratulations to our rivals who were better than us in many different moments, and for that, they deserved the victory without any doubts (6-2/7-6).

Third, I am proud of the duo under my coaching, because we played the whole game as a team, we believe in ourselves, we showed personality and we abdicated any kind of factor that could harm our performance: negativity behaviors, egos, inappropriate attitudes, etc. When we achieve these things, magic happens. Our reward was fighting to the end looking our opponents in the eye.

Finally, I would like to congratulate all the coaches, family, friends and acquaintances who contributed to the growth of these two players. We are the sum of many people who have helped us until today. and continue to live the dream with the same illusion they started with because you have a bright future ahead of you!!!

No words to describe how much grateful I am for coaching so many different players with all different levels, skills, personalities, goals, throughout this pre-qualifying phase.

In the mens pre-qualifying phase, I was invited to coach a portuguese double made by and .coelho.336
We lost against our rivals who were better than us. Although, we learned with this defeat how important is to put "one more ball in than our opponents".

A special mention to : no one came to life knowing everything, so enjoy the game, the process and keep working.
And to .coelho.336 : believe more in your padel, don't lose faith in you if the things doesn't go as you predicted.

In the women's pre-qualifying phase, I coached a female portuguese double made by and
Togheter, they have less than 32 years old, however their first appearance in a WPT showed us that their mental age is from other level: 1 victory and 1 defeat.
Special mention to them: both made an incredible performance, however, we may focus our energy only in the things we can control.
