It all started with 4 weeks..
When Emily first signed up to Project GMC she was a completely different woman to what you see now
She was cautious… She’d been trying so hard to get a body she loved, she had almost convinced herself it would take too much to get where she wanted to be
She was always trying to exercise, she always tried to eat well.. She’d tried diets, workout programmes.. Everything
So no doubt when we first started talking, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to put herself through another programme
She liked the sound of Project GMC but she still wasn’t convinced
“Give it 4 weeks” I told her, if your gut tells you this is just like every other health & fitness thing out there you can leave with your head held high
So she did.. Within her first 4 weeks things changed dramatically
She wasn’t putting more effort in, she wasn’t eating less & having to miss out on her favourite things..
But what she did was allow herself to be coached in a completely new way
The GMC way
And after her first 4 weeks as an Animal we could both see the bright future she had ahead of her
And now? Now her goals have taken on a whole new meaning. Its no longer about desperation & negativity towards herself
She leans into her goals with growth, evolution & empowerment in mind
All because of her first 4 weeks..
Imagine where she would be if she didn’t take that step & trust the first 30 days

How is this any different?
Our feeds are constantly flooded with PTs, bootcamps, diets, should do this should do that’s
So why would I, a woman who hates fad diets & quick fixes, come up with a 4 week challenge?
Isn’t that going against everything I’ve ever said?
You would think so.. But actually, what I have created isn’t just a regular 4 week challenge for women to sign up to then forget about
GMC4 has been designed specifically for women who ACTUALLY want to change their life for the better
But for one reason or another, have never felt that light bulb moment.. That slot into place when it comes to transforming their physical or mental self
GMC4 is different because YES you get your nutrition & exercise plan, YES you get 4 weeks of accountability to make sure you’re actually doing what you said you were going to do
BUT we go a layer deeper. We show you WHY things have next stuck in the past & HOW to actually make this challenge last a life time

I am told constantly by women that I understand them, I’m firm but fair & I have a super power for showing women how they can excited about transforming & not fall at the first hurdle
After the last challenge one of our girls Bec said to me “I’ve been through different diets & programmes in the past, but this was the first time I truly felt heard.. This was the first time a challenge felt like it slotted straight into my life & something that I could carry on forever”
So no, I can’t promise you the world in 4 weeks.. But the next 4 weeks is going to pass anyway

I used to think people were strange for putting themselves through the discomfort of running
I didn’t understand why people wanted to knacker themselves for no reason
I was sure these people were weird for wanting to put themselves in challenging situations
Like what are you getting out of that?!
It was unfortunately only after being in a toxic relationship, losing my mum to a horrible disease & hiring my own coach…
… that I realised that was because I didn’t respect myself enough to challenge myself
Subconsciously I wanted to stay safe, I wanted to convince myself I was happy not pushing myself or succeeding
But going through such horrible things led me to listen to that tiny voice inside me that says I was capable of something
And I knew, if I was to get diagnosed with the same thing as my mum at 52…
There was no f*cking way I was going without achieving something
So I learnt to respect myself
I learnt that confidence came from challenges 💥
I practiced pushing myself out my comfort zone
And now I look at some things I do and laugh because people now call me weird
But if I can show at least one woman that she deserves to be able to achieve
And if I can show even 1 woman that she deserves to respect herself
Then I’m happy being the weird one
And you’ll forever now see me choosing the challenging thing … just because 🐾
That’s what Project GMC stands for .. and that’s what an Animal does 🧡

What does ‘healthy’ actually mean?? 🤔
I once believed to be healthy, everything had to be ‘on track’
I needed to eat healthy all week, I needed to be exercising multiple times a week
I should be off my phone early, I couldn’t eat snacks, alcohol was a no go, eat clean, eat green, drink water 💧
And yes, obviously all these things are great & will make us feel amazing
But I felt like I could only sustain it for a few days, a week max…
Then something would happen that would throw me off 😩
Like a takeaway, a girls night out, a hangover, a meal out…
And then I’d think “well f*ck it I’ve ruined it now, may as well enjoy myself & start again next week” 🤷🏼♀️
And I won’t lie, I was exhausted, frustrated & lethargic because of it
It was only when I sought out some help from hiring my fitness coach
That I realised I was forcing myself to be someone I didn’t really wanna be
I wanted to be able to enjoy myself with my friends, eat out, have a couple of drinks… eat my dairy milk!!!
But I didn’t believe I could without ruining my progress
“Aren’t you ruining your progress every weekend anyway” he said…
Light bulb 💡
I spent the next few months figuring out what MY healthy was
Now I can tick all the boxes ☑️
I love my body all year round
I’m fit, strong, energetic, confident, happy… healthy
And I go out for tea, enjoy girls days, eat my choccy
And you can be too! 💥

Our family are no longer eating separate meals to suit my diet!
3 months ago Rachel had got to a point where she felt unattractive, wobbly & not confident at all
She had not long had her second gorgeous baby & was filled with love & joy… but something was missing within herself
She had tried all the diets & felt miserable at the thought of starting slimming world again
As it meant all her family would be eating different meals to suit her diet
She was bored, fed up & pretty sick of eating the same thing day in day out
Since starting Project GMC Rach has been taught how to eat whatever she wants
Whatever makes her feel good, full of energy & satisfied
She’s been opened to a world where you don’t have to restrict to change your shape or your weight
Rach has started to work out from home around looking after her babies & has realised that it CAN be done no matter the schedule
None of this has been magic, none of this has been easy
But over the last 3 months Rachel has turned up for herself, her family & her future
It has been a pleasure to watch this woman put the work in 1% at a time, following our systems to the T
And I can not wait to see what’s next…

“I was told I’d be in a wheelchair by 50”
Julie has just celebrated her 59th birthday& I think it’s safe to say she’s absolutely proved that consultant wrong 💥
When we finally jumped on our first call to chat about Julie wanting to lose a few pounds
I asked her “tell me, who is Julie?”
And she couldn’t answer me…
So I asked her “who do you want Julie to be?”
And all of a sudden I saw this glimmer of an inner Animal flash behind her eyes 🐾
She told me she used to have fire in her tummy, she used to be full of life & she’d lost that sparkle
We spent some time talking through how life can look as an Animal & the systems we had in place to help her lose a few pounds & increase her energy slightly
The first 6 months of Julie’s journey consisted of reminding herself, she was in control
She got to chose what happens in her life
She got to chose what she did each day for her future & present self
Flash forward to today, having just celebrated her 50th birthday 🎂
This absolute Animal is one of the most inspiring, motivational & caring women I’ve ever met
There’s been ups & downs but I can not tell you the evolution that has happened & continues to happen due to her determination to never ever cage that inner Animal again 🔥
