Being back in Sardinia last week, 11 years after my 1st time there as a student, made me think about just how much life has happened since.
I went from being a complete rookie, teaching my first group classes, to coaching women all over the world and helping them experience what sport gave me.
I went from being a passionate middle-distance runner, through an injury I’m still dealing with, a thyroid diagnosis, and into an even more badass sport: Spartan racing.
A lot has changed.
But some things really haven’t.
The ambition. The ridiculous enthusiasm. Feeling everything deeply. Being kinda silly. And this huge desire to show women just how much this lifestyle I teach can give you.
And looking back at these 11 years, I just want to thank myself.
For the work, for the mistakes, for never giving up.
I wish I’d taken even more risks, owned my value sooner, and learned to set better boundaries earlier.
But besides that, I wouldn’t change s**t. ❤️
