As of today, July 18, 2025, we have officially rolled out a press release featuring the inspiring interaction between Pakistan Football League (PFL) and the talented youth of Lyari Football Academy (LFA), selected to represent Pakistan in its debut at the Norway Cup 2025, the world’s largest youth football tournament, set to kick off on July 26 in Oslo.

This marks a proud and historic milestone as Pakistan prepares to participate for the very first time on this prestigious global stage.

We’re thrilled and proud to announce that Pakistan Football League (PFL) is awarding Rs1 million in prize money to Muhammad Riaz, a talented footballer who was forced to leave the globally loved sport of football due to financial difficulties.

But that’s not all! Riaz will also receive a guaranteed position at PFL alongside international training opportunities to help him shine on the soccer field once again.

We believe in supporting our talented footballers and providing them with the opportunities they deserve.

This development is in line to the vision of our Chairman, Mr. Farhan Junejo who echoes the core objective of PFL for making football more accessible for everyone in Pakistan, and ensuring that the best players aren’t left out from the soccer field.
