World Championships Debut!!

On March 8th I made my World Championships debut as a first year bobsleigh pilot. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity and the support that I received.

On top of making my debut, I also made history as the first Spanish women to compete at a world championships in bobsleigh - on International Women's day!

I'm proud of my performance at these championships. As a first year driver I certainly was not perfect, but I learned from every mistake and was able to come back better and better every heat and even moved up one place during the race.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped me get here 💕

Debut en el Campeonato del Mundo!!

El 8 de marzo hice mi debut en el Campeonato del Mundo como piloto de bobsleigh en mi primer año. Estoy increíblemente agradecida por la oportunidad y el apoyo que recibí.

Además de hacer mi debut, también hice historia al ser la primera mujer española en competir en un campeonato del mundo de bobsleigh, en el Día Internacional de la Mujer!

Estoy muy orgullosa de mi actuación en este campeonato. Como conductora de primer año, no fui perfecta, pero aprendí de cada error y pude mejorar cada vez más en cada manga, e incluso subí una posición durante la carrera.

Un enorme agradecimiento a todos los que me ayudaron a llegar hasta aquí 💕

Just want to back track and give you all an update on my Europa Cup season and some medals that I got to bring home!

It was quite challenging as a first year bobsleigh pilot to learn all of these incredibly technical tracks. I’m really proud of how I handled every learning curve and challenge.

I raced in Lillehammer 🇳🇴, Sigulda 🇱🇻, Altenberg 🇩🇪 and finally Winterberg 🇩🇪. My best result was a very unexpected bronze medal in Sigulda - one of the most challenging tracks in the world!

To get from track to track I drove a large rental van with my sled and all of my belongings in the back. This made for some pretty long travel days!

Quería hacer una pequeña pausa para actualizarles sobre mi temporada en la Europa Cup y algunas medallas que me llevé a casa!

Fue un gran desafío, ya que esta fue mi primera temporada como piloto de bobsleigh y tuve que aprender a manejar todas estas pistas increíblemente técnicas. Estoy muy orgullosa de cómo enfrenté cada curva de aprendizaje y desafío.

Competí en Lillehammer 🇳🇴, Sigulda 🇱🇻, Altenberg 🇩🇪 y finalmente Winterberg 🇩🇪. Mi mejor resultado fue una medalla de bronce totalmente inesperada en Sigulda, ¡una de las pistas más difíciles del mundo!

Para ir de una pista a otra, manejé una furgoneta de alquiler grande con mi trineo y todas mis pertenencias en la parte trasera. ¡Esto hizo que algunos días de viaje fueran bastante largos!

Hello Community!

I’ve been long overdue for a post on here to keep you all updated. A lot of races have passed with a lot of milestones for myself and the history of Spanish bobsleigh.

I started my season with North America’s Cup, competing in four races. Two in Whilster 🇨🇦 and two in Park City 🇺🇸. This marked my first ever race as a pilot, and the first time Spain was represented in a Women’s monobob race. I finished in the top 10 in every race, and even came 5th in Whistler. I was proud of this accomplishment for a first year pilot.

After the new year I started my journey to the Europa Cup circuit. Another update to come on those results.

¡Hola Comunidad!

Hace tiempo que tenía pendiente un post aquí para manteneros al día. Han pasado muchas carreras con muchos hitos para mi y para la historia del bobsleigh español.

Empecé mi temporada con la North America's Cup, compitiendo en cuatro carreras. Dos en Whilster 🇨🇦 y dos en Park City 🇺🇸. Esta fue mi primera carrera como piloto, y la primera vez que España estaba representada en una carrera de monobob femenino. Terminé entre las 10 primeras en todas las carreras, e incluso fui 5ª en Whistler. Estaba orgullosa de este logro para una piloto de primer año.

Después del año nuevo empecé mi andadura en el circuito de la Copa de Europa. Otra actualización por venir sobre esos resultados.
