💬 Legendary conversation between Toni Kroos and Rio Ferdinand about Bellingham:
🗣 Toni Kroos: "In my opinion, Bellingham is one of the most complete midfielders in the world."
"If he is in his best form, in my opinion he is the best midfielder in the world; or he can be the best midfielder in the world."
"How do they see him in England? I know that a player sometimes receives the most criticism in their own country."
"What is Bellingham's standing in England?"
🗣️ Rio Ferdinand: "First of all, I think in England, especially the media, they try to create a wrong image of him."
"None of them know Bellingham, but they assume that he behaves in a certain way and I think they try to make up stories about him."
"Probably you understand this matter and know it very well, but in terms of talent, this boy is incredibly brave."
"You can see this from his decision to leave his club in England at 16 or 17 years old and go to Germany."
"He went there, performed exceptionally well, and as soon as the opportunity to go to Real Madrid was provided for him, he immediately made the transfer."
"As you yourself said and witnessed up close, when you were at Real Madrid, many players joined this club entering with high expectations, but they never reached that level."
"They never got there and the size and grandeur of the club put them under pressure."
"They got lost and lost their confidence, but this boy just wants to be the best."
"He wants to take on responsibility in big moments."
"I think he is a big moment player and as you said, I think he is an exceptionally complete player."
"If you ask him to play in position 6, 8 or even 10, or to come on as a false striker, he can be one of the best players in the world in all these positions."
