In Slow Flow, we want to drift effortlessly through slow tempos — creating space for dancers to find that sweet spot where connection happens naturally, where we can mingle, explore, and let go of fixed structures.

A huge part of creating that atmosphere is the music… and that means DJs. We have an incredible team ready to guide you through a journey where Bal and Blues can almost become one:

Samuel Sanchez
Carla Frade .frade.blues
Zakaria Belaziz
Shobhana Nambiar — all the way from Australia!
Nicolas Sperragi
Rodrigo Caxaria
Andreas Olsson
Gas Fernandez .fernandez
Alba Mengual .mengual
Alejandro Arias .arias.54943

They’ll be your music captains, together with our two amazing live bands:

Jessie Gordon’s Flow State
The Sentimental Gentlemen

There’s no better way to talk about Slow Flow than through the experience of those who’ve already been there.

Viva (from Taiwan) shares why she recommends Slow Flow — especially if you find slow songs challenging.

For her, it’s the perfect place to learn how to move with slow rhythm and slow music, guided by highly experienced instructors in slow balboa and blues.

She also highlights what makes the experience feel so supportive: Big Mama as a welcoming venue, great live music, and even a good cocktail waiting at the bar.

Thank you, , for sharing your experience — and for being part of Slow Flow 💖

Ever wondered what happens when slow balboa meets slow blues? 👀

Alba & Gas break down a clip from Slow Bal Love Weekend, where they’re mixing both worlds — plus a few extra flavours (yes, there’s a touch of tango… and even some swing).

They talk about:

how posture and pulse shift between styles
waves, drag/kick ideas, and quality of movement
how borrowing elements can open new doors in your dancing

Do you agree with what they’re noticing? What do you see in this mix?
