For me 🤍
All of this, for me 💁🏽♀️
One year ago I started to really focus on my training and food.
In this time I have
💚 ran 3 half marathons (medals still pending lol)
💚 hit 100KG deadlift
💚 hit 180KG hip thrust
💚 survived 90 mins on the stairmaster (now the loml)
💚 lost 10kg in weight
💚 dropped to 54KG
💚 found love in training all over again
The last 12 months have been the best 12 months of my life! Not just training, but personal too. Business is going well, I’ve travelled far more than I imagined I would, I found my girls, I found my hobbies, and most importantly, I found myself ❤️🔥
I run for fun, I train hard because I love being strong, I eat nourishing foods because it feels good and I still go out regularly for balance 💃🏼
To be honest, the extent I train and commit around my macros, it practically is a full time job but it’s soooo worth it. If I think about the hours I’ve spent in the gym, meal prepping & running, I’ll have probably spent that doom scrolling or hating on myself. So here’s to prioritising myself 🥂

My usual Sunday post of my absolute stunning week.
What a life 🤌🏼
I went straight back at it when I got off holiday.. delays would’ve resulted in me skipping sessions and sleeping in. Sooo glad I got straight back to it. There’s nothing I love more than prioritising myself. I actually spent the entire week of my holiday RESTING. It was beautiful 🌺

I’ve been hammmmmering it in lately.. maybe a bit too much, so here’s a lesson from me to you xox
As addicting as it gets, as rewarding as it feels, as reliant we can get in the escape.. make sure you’re prioritising you rest too!! Your body does not grow or get stronger when you are working out. It breaks down with the strain, tension and progressive overload. Your body will only repair and build when you are strictly resting. If you do not prioritise resting, YOUR BODY WILL EVENTUALLY MAKE YOU. Through plateau, fatigue and/or injury.
I am someone who struggles with doing nothing meaning I have had to find ways to ease the itch I get to move. Walking definitely helps and as long as it’s kept light, would be considered somewhat resting. I picked up other hobbies to assist with my fidgety ass allowing me to approach sessions in a better state, physically and mentally.
Anyway, I’ll be resting for the next week due to being OOO ✈️ a well deserved break and a few cocktails to switch off and come back 10x better for myself and for my clients. Adios 🫶🏼

A few weekly spaces I have available for home-based PT.
Ideal for those who WFH, have a family, struggle to make it to the gym, and/or those who don’t particularly like the gym but would like to learn more about exercising, balanced eating and looking to improve their overall health.
