La Siesta Golf Academy & Driving Range

Hi Everyone
Hope Everyone has had a wonderful summer and enjoyed the weather!!!

We start back to Thursday golf ⛳️ like Monday meet at 9am for 9.30am start on September 10th (this Thursday) at Club de Golf La Siesta.

The price is the same ie., 25€ inc 1 drink and a snack at the driving range and 9 holes at La Siesta Golf.

Just check in at the driving range Golf Academy which is situated at Calle Golf Calahonda.

Remember this is individual Stableford but main Result is Men v Ladies for the annual Trophy 🏆

Firstly a big thank you to Dennis and Margaret Dean for looking after the Monday competition at Club de Golf La Siesta whilst the bosses were away!

Nearest the pin today was Greta Stonestreet-Chambers.

In second place was Andrea (same points as Trevor but with a better back 6).

But in first today was Greta on 19 points.

Well done to newbie Joy who had a brilliant round of 24 but was cut 8 and you cant win when playing for the first time :-(

A great roll up for our Sunday comp at Cerrado del Águila.

It did feel a bit muggy though but good scores by some!!!

Nearest the pin today was Martin.

In 3rd was Glen with 36 points cut 1 and in 2nd was Dave Spears with 38 points cut 2.

But in 1st with 39 points and cut 3 was Owen.

Great golf today at Santa Clara Golf Club Marbella and the course was in great condition, but it’s heated up again!!!

Nearest the pin today was Chris Day
And he was also in 3rd with 36pts.
In 2nd with 38pts wasJohn
But in 1st with 38pts was Steve

Lovely day for our Monday Competition.

In 1st place was Linda and in 2nd 2nd was Saskia.

A hot one today for our roll up at Cerrado del Águila as there wasn’t a lot of breeze! But the lack of wind didn’t help the scoring!!!

So nearest the pin today was Paul Ellis.

Just out of the prizes were Paul and Jo Ellis with 29 points.

In 2nd today was Janet Thornton with 30 points with Nigel Thornton (husband) winning with 31 points.

3rd with 37pts was Joe Lister
2nd also with 37pts but a better back 9 was Ricky
But in 1st with 38pts points was Kim.

Anna and Greta were just out of the prizes today and it was the men who came out on top.. in second place was John(Grandad) who is a fantastic 90 years old and in first place with a great round was Jose... well done folks 👏
