Hoy un grande cuelga las zapatillas. Jonny Brownlee ha anunciado su retirada de la competición, donde deja un vacío y una carrera brillante llena de grandes momentos.

Compitió en Anfi Challenge Mogán Gran Canaria en varias ocasiones, subiéndose al podio en segunda posición 🥈en 2025. Con una estrecha relación siempre con la isla y la organización, Gran Canaria siempre será TU CASA.

Te esperamos en el paraíso, también al otro lado de la línea de meta.

Today, a great athlete is hanging up his trainers. Jonny Brownlee has announced his retirement from competition, leaving behind a void and a brilliant career full of great moments.

He competed in the Anfi Challenge Mogán Gran Canaria on several occasions, finishing second 🥈 in 2025. Having always had a close connection with the island and the organisers, Gran Canaria will always be YOUR HOME.

We look forward to seeing you in paradise, on the other side of the finish line too.

Challenge Gran Canaria is undergoing significant structural changes for its 2027 edition, expanding the event to a two-day schedule and transitioning to a T100 race format as part of a new partnership between Challenge Family and the PTO.
