We were in Italy long enough to eat pizza and say bonj- before moving on to Switzerland. Up until now I thought New Zealand was the best place to be born but Switzerland could Trump it. We visited lauterbrunnen the place that inspired Tolkien to create Rivendell, then after failing to find a cheap and vacant campsite after 7 odd attempts we camped the night on an organic farm.

After an excruciating 2.5hr border crossing from morocco to ceuta we made it onto our ferry back to Spain by the skin of teeth, only because it was delayed.
We've slowed the pace a little to recover and explored the beatiful southern Spanish coastal roads!

Slowed the pace a little and spent our last night in Morroco in Chefchouan (the blue city). Bluen away by the aesthetic and how chill the place is. Last catch up with the full convoy before we all head different ways up to prague for the rally finish.
Today we're heading for the ferry back to Spain but not before stopping in and admiring m'diq

We're getting back to North morocco and stayed last night in Fes. We stayed in a traditional Riad inside the old city walls (Medina). Was an awesome experience with great hospitality.

Just checked out POI 86, the world's biggest solar power plant. 7000 mirrors reflect sunlight onto a 200m tall tower, melting salt at above 800C which heats water and runs a steam turbine. So there you go, very powerful , very impressive eye of Sauron looking thing.

POI85 creepy gas station, this is where they filmed hills have eyes and it feels very real. As we headed north the temperature skyrocketed to 44C, and that was one of the toughest mental battles yet. Plenty of water and spritz and we made it north to a slightly more manageable temp.


It was also got to run in some fellow traveller's and hear there stories.

Second pole of the day, POI 82 Boucraa phosphate mine. Home to the world's longest conveyor belt, and low and beyold us raggedy tourists weren't allowed in. But near enough.
